thanks Andrew.. sold down a lot of my holding from 1.8p to 2.05p, in fairness.. but couldn't resist buying back a fair few of these this morning .. bought a tranche first thing and a bit more again now.. here's hoping.. A placing soon enough remains a reasonable possibility in my mind, granted.. but if over 1.3p for eg then I'm ok(ish) with that ( open to adding plenty more back again here as we go too.. one way or other )

The fact experts have deemed it appropriate to do a FREE drill on their acreage disproves your thesis imho mr cautious.... there are a fair few other things I have in mind that do as well, but I don't want to get into an multi post debate with you here as I feel it would be time wasted on my part.. again, everyone is entitled to their opinion and clearly this stock is not/no longer for you ... and there are of course many others stocks out there likely more appropriate for a Mr cautious type I expect ps I see playing stocks like this generally as betting far far more than Investing... and i'm a long term holder - as opposed to short term trader - here and in a few similar blue sky oilers too .. and through many massive falls and rises have won big on some and lost big on others.. but am decently altogether up so far, fortunately

the oil price in the 6 to 12 to 24 months out range is what's important here.. I see PoO&G in any or all of those timeframes as considerably higher than current very approx $40 wti (and $2.5 $/MMBtu Henry hub gas future )

i'm hoping for support around 30p too Coldbuffet.. and we've witnessed that a few times already in July and August.. so it's a fair hope.

To that end I did a small top up now building out my smallish position a bit, but would - only - be open to topping up further again if this goes decently under 30p. ( And the only way i'd have a meaningful position here again is if this heads back towards 20p .. which is unlikely now I'd guess.. and plenty here would seriously be pained by that.. not least the one and only major_buyer I'd guess.. and so i'd not wish that on him/them just for me to for eg double my bet here)

The market cap here is miniscule so always room for decent upside from that angle alone.

Most importantly, this free drill from Utah Energy and geo science department is very useful indeed.. off the back, a farm in would hopefully be much more de risked and therefore more likely to happen.... and a farm in for a focused part of their paradox basin holding seems the way to go to minimize future share issuance here.

Also this free drill would happen relatively quickly too, but not so quickly as the PoO&G would not have had a chance to further recover somewhat.. so hopefully early next year sees $50 ish WTI with further upside on horizon, to tempt a farm in partner more too .. a decent farm in deal would see the s/p around the few pennies range I'd guess .. so for newbies here the bet could be: buy at under 1p and potentially for eg triple or more your money within 6 months.. versus maybe halving it if things go badly from here. In this space, in those timeframes that's a decent bet in my mind.

High Risk obviously and DYOR

at least some semblance of common sense is being applied here today in this s/p moving decently higher than the extremely lowly .50p it was pre latest GREAT news RNS. For it to go back towards .50p yesterday was farcical...and this news should have seen it move up to the 1p range imho

very surprised this went back towards 50p recently .. and, as i still believe fairly strongly here, i added a bit in low 50's to bring my average down ..Strong AGM statement too imho .. and nice divi too !! .. so anything under 65p I think this is a good buy .. and at under 60p a very good buy... DYOR of course (and a chance there's a size holder steadily offloading too.. which is never ideal )

MM's are very tricky players indeed as a rule... but they are only one element in a complicated dynamic.. I'd guess there are also size sellers still gently unloading here too unfortunately .. and with PoO&G stepping back a bit around now, buying is perhaps a bit slower here around this time too.

I'd guess some PI money is exiting and some II money incrementally still exiting too .. obviously nice PI and II buying recently was outweighing this, thankfully.. but the balance has flipped to selling more than buying in last two days.. that can change quickly back the other way though, hopefully .. on good company news for eg .. and PoO+G turning back up decently would be useful too ..

Generally, even one step back for two forward here would be OK by me .. and 13p by 2020 year end would be a decent to good outcome here in my mind...hopefully .. And the 2021 picture looks bright here now too.. and medium term brighter still imho..

And a good start to a drilling campaign is important and this is, by any definition, a good start !

Given this RNS and the potential of what could be added here in the coming month or three, under 2p here now is A NONSENSE imho

(it should have been 2+p in anticipation of this campaign and pushing up towards 2.5p today for eg imho.. altogether I conclude there's likely a size holding seller still dumping here.... and has been dumping for a good while now too.. looks ridiculous they're still doing so under 2p now .. but, they'll either stop if results of this workover/drilling campaign keep adding meaningful value to bottom line or they'll run out of bullets quickly as they'll be more buying to allow them sell out quickly completely from here.. )

2.05 p for me to sell some just now.. and in the spirit of giving I've just put a tranche in the money markets pocket to help those who want to buy around here !

Fool that I might - or might not - be selling down at these levels, these are double my money levels and eeh by gum, nowt wrong with a tidy profit in this game..

( still got some left as a basis to build out to a hopefully even quarter decent sized position again.. although my 1.5p target is getting further and further away.. but great to see the long suffering here getting a break for a change here )

Understood that this company has an awful history of shareholder wealth destruction: I've been in this for years and gotten smashed. And the share price has been utterly decimated as punishment for previous management incompetence.

But there is a new management team and this RNS is GREAT news.. its a free hit drill.. nearly as good as a MINI farm- out in my mind.. and given the share price is already at an extremely low level before this news, for it to now be be only 15% up on the day now is farcical in my mind.From an extremely lowly .5p, this should have gone way higher than that on this news in my honest opinion..

Again, I've been in this for years and so am not some guy turning up this morning and doing some baseless ramping for a quick in and out . I'm happy to have added more here today and will sit and wait patently for this company to progress itself from here.. and what a gift they've just been given to start them well on there way !

Alternatively, this RNS shows that this company has potentially very good assets.... and is potentially very undervalued.

seems to have taken a breather in parking itself at around .70p for now .. hopefully it picks up steam again thru today
