20 to 1 approx 6 months ago WTF.

(For all the posting you do here, and your research not to extend to that that - 10 seconds internet query for eg - is entertaining to me .... and 6 months being categorised as long term holder may actually me closer to the truth than I'd like to think... indeed, i'd guess many of the holders here in recent times hold this for a day - or part of - or a week or a even a whole month.. so in context I guess 6 months qualifies as almost a very long -term holder ( 6 years plus for me most make be a glacial term holder.. and George Inn types 'big bang' term holders :-))

I am fully aware that a market crash could happen at any time Snaffleman, especially as plenty of US stocks have very very full valuations imho. But even if/when a correction, it may not be a BIG correction either.... eg 10 -15% off the US is only letting off steam in my mind .. it's more a 20% - 50% type US correction that would send sustained shockwaves widely.

A possible punchy - but not catastrophic - market sell off in coming months is why my range prediction for this for the remainder of 2020 is 6p to 20p.. ( and similar wide range with low base for 2021) .. so if the US market came off say 15 +% quickly this could of course get swept up in any wider sell off too and go down to 6p ish. But we're at a very lowly 8 ish p now .. And so whats another 2p off - it would be an averaging further down opportunity for me for eg - especially as many have held from 30p + all the way down to here already .

Generally, as long as this company cash collects even 70% of what it bills in a reasonably timely fashion through any market crash it would survive decently imho.. and if it has collected better than that through a world Co-Vid SHUT DOWN in q2 and part of q3 - and it seems likely even very likely now it has - then I believe it would do 70% or better cash collections in a serious bear market scenario.

On the other hand, the upside here could be large or even very large from 8p imho It was mid 50's p once don't forget and mid 20's p 9 ish months ago .. and on paper the deal they did in Nigeria was excellent.. and if cash collections are anywhere near in line with billing then 8p s/p for save.l is indeed a nonsense imho

So to me the balance is easily in favour of holding at this time instead of selling.. but if this starts to go higher soon that balance of course moves slightly in the other direction for every higher this goes. If the interims in October ish ? time confirm what we think we already know then I'm very confident this will re value meaningfully .. indeed I'm semi/fairly confident it will revalue ahead of that eg if management start buying shares soon or if they do a presentation round to institutions of the back of recent updates and give them further clarity on a better picture than plenty may have been expecting.

Also after such a HUGE pence scale decline, any rally could easily be quick punchy too eg 8p to 11p in a matter of a day to week type thing.. and on again from there smartly too.. hopefully.

Indeed i'd go as far as offering that Ken wouldn't need to be very observant at all to conclude that that this company consistently meaningfully - but not massively in fairness -underachieves is various shapes and forms as a rule.. but hopefully every dog has its day ..and imho it's all about a favourable macro supply and demand picture when Kenmare is in an output sweet spot.. hopefully that's 2021 ...or if not 2022.. etc

I'm not one for burning candles at both ends but, generally, it's becoming clearer and clearer to me recently that this share price is indeed a 'Nonsense'

Solid but no more update altogether yesterday imho and I'm still holding and hoping.. and solid helps too when the s/p is around a lowly 200p

Here for a fair few years now but not as long-term as some others here clearly.. and has been a very frustrating journey so far and the fact my current position is about half my peak of a few years back reflects that .. (I've taken small(ish) losses only in selling down somewhat into relative strength s/p times so far.. and small added back on weakness too to bring my average down)

I thought about adding on recent weakness but sods law didn't and so it's likely hold and patiently hope for me for a good while yet : I always have that hope here that this - again - hits one of those cyclical sweet spots of lack of global supply arising when Kmr are back producing strong grades and volumes into strong demand.. perhaps in 2021 for eg.. and before you know it this could be 500p+ .. dreamer that I may be..

I'm here waiting patiently TheMiningELf ...and I hear you that 2p is possible soon.. huge potential here no doubt and close to deal completion now too I hope..

Generally, I believe the previous fiasco with the Chinese is curbing a strong 'in anticipation rally' here.. but there is still room for a decent in anticipation rally.. and this deal should get fully over the line soon and depending on the exact terms this s/p will hopefully be somewhere in the realms of way higher than 1.5p soon !!

news that the Fairbride plant is finally on the move across the border in the coming days could fuel this rally further ?!

While i think Naphtman 1 is way too bullish here - but everyone is of course entitled to their opinion and anything is possible - I don't see why this can't rally fairly quickly back to 2p + in anticipation of the workovers/drills that are scheduled here in the coming weeks. Obviously what happens after that depends, to a large extent, on the results of these works.... so here's very much hoping President has some good luck in these pieces of work.. This co. / s/p could do with a change of fortune for sure.

The ongoing drip selling here is incredibly ongoing .. and annoying.. I'm wondering if the seller(s) is/are using fully loaded the M134 Minigun(s)

I am - indeed - a SOMEWHAT bitter long term shareholder Lucky.. but by some miracle - aka range trading the ar+e off this doggy - I've gone from way down to well up from my involvement here altogether so far, so can you imagine how bitter I could be :-)

Many more twists and turn still to come here, plenty of them ' very sub optimal' too imho.... and, altogether, what has actually been delivered here versus what was expected when CB took full control has been VERY LITTLE so far.. and the delays still go on as far as I can see.. and may easily continue to do so in 2021 too ..

Altogether, I do think CB is full of sh+t and wily and above all I think he's very entertaining.. and its mostly because of the later that I stay involved here .. ( 1/3 of my p/f is in gold stocks as a natural hedge too, which allows space for this doggy/pupppy?.. but with a bet that will be max. half the size it used at peak be)

PS; I enjoy reading history a lot.. as the past repeats usually itself again and again, just dressed up differently every time.

very kind dodge pot .. and obviously I wouldn't dream of filtering you either.. I did use the words 'on average'.. as nobody is right even near all the time in this game .. and, on average, FK has made considerably better calls than me here..

(ps: the big weakness i see in FK's mindset is that IF this company is to meaningfully turn around, he's very likely to miss that boat one way or other.. eg it would go much higher while he's getting convinced that there is actually a meaningful turn around in train and it would be too high then for him to see value in buying in at that level .. because he's remembering very well a low of .6p and, to boot, even on some success here he may, i guesstimate, be seeing a maximum s/p of mid single figures.... I on the other hand see 12p + as a two to three year target here IF the company turns bottom line profitable and just ticks steadily and unspectacularly along from there .. and i see an early spike on one clear and meaningful bottom line progress update - clearer than we've had so far granted, although things seem to be feeding thats that one clear RNS i'm feeling - up to approx a 3-4p range.. BUT IF Miton sell out completely around that same time it does complicate the view in my mind considerably.. and that's why I'd be gutted if they do sell out completely in the coming months for eg.. it is still not clear that they are/will of course )

FK's calls have, on average, been EXCELLENT here for YEARS now dodgepot, the bulls calls have, on average, been APPALLING here for the same years now. (and I include myself in the latter, to a decent extent too ) So OF COURSE i'm going to listen to him TOO.. as in there is ZERO chance of me filtering him.

I hear you on being more comfortable holding here now than in a long time Dodgepot, BUT the name of the of game is strong share price .. and given how totally and utterly and shamefully abject this share price performance has been to date, just to consolidate around 1.75-2p p in the - number of decent/good RNS's in a row - circumstances is a TINY ASK in my mind.... and I am VERY disappointed that it couldn't, even within a country mile, manage that.

(And IF Miton do sell out of here completely around this time i'll be gutted too, not least as it'll need a considerable increase in buying in this mostly previously very illiquid name - good news could do that in fairness - for that not to be a considerable drag on this s/p for a good while to come )
