I believe that the best policy here NOW - that money is coming back into AIM / this sector.. etc- is for long term holders to adopt a positive mental attitude here; and look to go for glass half full posting more than glass half empty on xtr.l

(Towards balance, I feel I must also note that many of the negative points raised by sundry posters on this BB over recent years have blindingly obviously been plenty merit full in my eyes....but, especially from this year forward, I've chosen to focus more on the positives while looking to sweep plenty of negatives under the carpet.

Generally, I note that there are positives and negatives in every stock, and if I've decided not to sell up on a given stock, in the round, it's best I focus on positives when posting on a BB on that stock)

It will be even more extreme after that 24 BAM Mineral Resource Estimate is updated to a 25 one, off the back of recent drilling campaign!!!

And - per above - that update RNS is expected within the next few weeks

Here's to a big rally in anticipation, please (even if a 100% rally from here, this would still be meaningfully undervalued)

It's still only a few weeks to the late September interims/initial strategic review feedback from our new CEO...

And there is of course a decent chance of a speculative rally in anticipation of said big RNS/s..

To that end I topped up my - small ish - bet here this morning.. and may well top further up in the coming week or three!

But that's only partially true here:

I'm happy to have a chunk of my bet in longterm play here, as I like the assets and see semi decent progress in their development so far and into the future too...and am a believer that demand outstrips supply for copper into the future...

I also accept that I -at least semi badly- mis-timed the near doubling of bet here towards averaging down to what I believe is a competitive average, at an overall size that I'm pretty comfortable with

Generally , AIM will always be a broad church of players - I'm a blend of longterm buy and short term buy for eg - and each is absolutely entitled to play the game as they see fit..(within AIM/FCA rules)

(ps; while I don't short, I accept they're entitled to play the game as they see fit too)

And agreed now ish should be a - very even - good time for Mr Bird to drop some meaningfully positive news here:

The market for such stocks as xtr.l is generally seeing some money flowing in once again - for the first time in a long time - and so there should be opportunity for s/p up momentum to come back here readily, not least as the market cap. versus the assets/ future cash flows from Manica sale seems 'crazy' low right now.

(And there - potentially- should be news 'due' soon/ish here from Silver King... and/or Moroccan Antimony.. and/or sundry other assets too)

All things considered, I now think this can go back towards 7p ish this Autumn.. so I've now started small topping up my - all that was left - small placeholder in play BET here....

(I'd keep adding on strength more than weakness from here.. and with a 4 odd p ish average I'd be v pleased to with a 50% turn thru Autumn here)

I have no idea if it will or won't, but I do see clear opportunity for Mr Bird to ''pull tha finger arht !'' in Sept / Oct.. eg Moroccan Antimony... Silverking etc..

Generally, please find a way of showing better written communication/ marketing orientation skills here forward, Mr Bird ..eg frame your upcoming xtr.l RNS's against examples of big player activity/success in around that geographic area, like you did in Galileo RNS recently.. (a good rally recently in it off the back, I note)

PS: The market seems again open to putting money into such under valued co's as this.... It's up to you to raise your game to give this share every opportunity here /now, please, Mr Bird

Aside: interesting to see if his todays GLR RNS - a well presented one too - will see this mornings rise there continue....or stick, even... I took a small bet there fairly recently because I like the assets and also believe, whatever, all boats should rise with the ongoing flow of money back into this sector.. hopefully xtr.l might rise off the back too, of course...especially if Mr Bird can shake himself into getting well presented news out into the public domain here in September

Ben 'owell is as entitled to his opinion as the next person is.

Towards balance, I will offer back that decent progress has been made on SilverKing so far.. and it's now far from unreasonable to deduce that it's very prospective.. and that alone makes this s/p too low now (and ongoing income for years to come here - towards avoiding short term dilution/s - makes it more so again)

PS: Mr Bird getting us into SK via that JV, and the decent progress we've made so so far there, was the reason I wouldn't have voted against Mr Bird retaining his position, IF that was up for vote at this years AGM (I had in my mind that the s/p had to be over 1p at AGM time, but I believe that enough has been done to easily justify a s/p of over 1p here, in whatever sort of market, at AGM just gone time.. so I now look to next years AGM and say the s/p would need to be over 2p then for me to vote for Mr Bird to stay in position)

Fair enough you adding some balance re Simon Thompson's tips Stuartrm.

As I'm plenty bullish on this from around now forward, I'll counter that you buying here at - v approx - 130p + back then also show the potential upside from here now the business seems to be clearly turning strongly around ?!

More generally, I do understand such a s/p level occurring here again, if ever - including this maybe being taken out by Mennen Medical parent company in the coming months/years 'on the cheap'- to be a big ask, and, at best, a 27/28 thing... (And it having our US subsidiary - Airon - as a key driver in any such achievement.... and that including the FDA approving a - then - world leadingly enhanced SLE6000 ventilator in H1 27 as a basis for big Airon sales growth in 27/28... PS; In between now and 27/28 I see a clear path to this s/p being able to get decently north of 60p, which would still be a fine achievement from a 20- 25 p recent price range...not least for those more newly involved here with lower average prices.. eg sub 30p .. eg me)

And I try hard to mostly be positive here too ... but I also understand the negative posters are as entitled to their opinion as the positive posters are, not least as the share price is the benchmark , and this one is currently abject, alas (and ditto kinda all the rest of Mr Bird's AIM listed co's too, further alas).

PS: If you were to tannoy Mr Bird to go the main entrance gate where Mr Jezzoo is waiting for him; best you then go immediately to the main exit gate to catch him scarpering out of the racecourse :-)

Hopefully no boos from the stands when his name is called out on tannoy; from the say one in twenty Ebor goers who have lost a chunk money in one Colin Bird listed company or other :-)

Good news.. and I did my bit with a small top up just now..

(this remains a tricky share, alas.. witnessed by it still being 20p ish as I type.. still, the fundamentals here look strong now ..and hopefully fundamentals will out as we go forward from here....)

PS; A real pity more people don't know about this stock.

At least Simon Thompson at Investors Chronicle has tipped this as a recovery play.. and so, off the back of this strong update RNS, he should be further banging his drum on this again soon ...... which will hopefully see more buying here.

(Generally, this seems very cheap to me, now.... not least versus the 150p ish this had reached a few years back.. sure they've been thru a difficult few trading years.. but they only did a small raise - 3m gbp ish, I think - and their smallish debt now looks very manageable, including them now paying some down off the back of trading turning strong again.. And the new CEO seems to be doing a v good job, with this now looking to be clearly in good recovery mode.... and there's a decent chance of a t/o on the horizon too .. so this a/p should move into 30 to 40 p range soon enough, I'd hope.. but AIM is a strange beast, I grant you.. where nothing is remotely sure .. and this stock remains unknown to so many, alas.. etc)
