Mr Bird has a few key strength - as well as some key weaknesses too, granted - and one of those is - imho - his marketing orientation.

While he originally went over the top on his marketing of Bushranger, he has more recently gone to the other extreme - as in radio silence - on SilverKing... and indeed other Zambia assets - and other country assets, including Bushranger indeed - generally.

How about he finds a fair and reasonable middle ground on his marketing orientation from here forward, please?

I did a small top up now for luck.. and will maybe do one or two more soon too.... into - hopefully - ongoing rally here..

This share should soon come on more peoples radars - including chartists - if/as this rallies on up to less ridiculously low levels.. which will then hopefully see new buyers coming in here soon ..etc

Generally, 60p was outrageously low a s/p here... and 70p is ridiculously low.. 80 p would be very low , 90 p would be low.. and 100 p a decent buying opportunity..

While very very little shocks me with the xtr.l s/p anymore, I must admit that, in all the current circumstances together, it feels extraordinary to me that this evenings closing price is .79p.

And there was me in my earlier post wondering why some long termers were, versus v good SK RNS.. and good cooper price etc, selling in .90 to 1.05 ish range recently.................Because they could buy back soon enough in the .80 to .90 range is one good answer :-(

While sailing close to the wind as a rule, Mr Bird kinda still stays broadly within AIM rules, I'd guess Jakbal.. perhaps not least because he understands they're pretty flexible and far from rigorously overseen etc, .... So while I'm annoyed with him, I kinda get why he behaves as he does..

(Also why for eg give forward work plans/timelines when whatever timeframes he might give, are - historically - effectively never remotely met.... as well as this curbing his 'freedom' to flip flop from one 'opportunity' to the next in short order on a whim)

More generally, he got carried away with his Bushranger 'marketing' and somewhat made a fool of himself .. and perhaps including xtr.l's nomad clipping the Birds Wings off the back, he's now playing things very low key and cautiously generally this latest go round. Alas, this lack of marketing here now is perhaps contributing to this s/p staying in the dirt on the floor still.. damned if he does and damned it he doesn't, perhaps.

Nonetheless, I must say that the assets he has here now seem impressive to me.... and the s/p seems ludicrously low by comparison to these assets in the round, very especially including the nice Manica income for years forward on top .. so I'm fine with staying patient here.

PS; I'm surprised the last Silver King RNS didn't rally this up towards 1.5p .. but there were a few size longtermers selling punchily into the up momentum, thus killing that rally promptly, alas.. (long term holders selling at 1 p ish here/NOW surprised me A LOT .... but each to their own)

...hopefully, in due course, significantly more will want out than in....and that ongoing for a decent period of s/p appreciation time..

The price a raise - IF a raise were to happen - is done at, be that on the open market or not, is what matters to me, Investor33

Great if it were done at a premium or at par to prevailing s/p at/around that time .. but it may easily be done at a discount to that s/p too ..

However, my GUESS -aka hope - is that a JV of whatever shape or form will be entered into by matd.l soon enough.. and that open up a new - better - paradigm here.. and any future possible raise thereafter would be - much - less a scary thing generally then.. (and maybe none required then either)

The unprincely sum of 1100 gbp in play is now an almost equally unprincely sum of 2200 gbp in play

If there's a raise here in due course - and there might easily be - I'm open to doubling ish down again off the back of that.

My hope is there would be some good news here over the coming months and any raise that might happen would be from a higher base level than the current very sad 1.22 p ish

eg 0p or 1p have more of less equal probability in my mind.

Towards finishing on positives:

At least he was able to get a raise away in the name of rare earth minerals further exploration (if a meaningful rare earth Mins deposit is discovered off the back, this could rally hard)

The core - KP Fertil - business is now coming into peak season/s demand

Any one or some of the assets might achieve decent sale prices whenever in the future

Some merit in that point granted JDAU.. but, towards balance, HE completely, utterly and totally annihilated this s/p to get it to .5p ahead of this 80% ish rally ?!

PS; in case of confusion, I absolutely understand Mr Bird to be murky, cowboyesque and self - and staff - serving way ahead of shareholder serving.. but he generally does business in Africa and his style fits in very well with the modus operandi there... hence why he has good traction there now.

As well as SilverKing becoming a fine prospect; including the other assets here - not least Manica revenue for years top come - this s/p is just far too low now.

With you selling punchily - and Andrew somewhat so too - that explains plenty why this s/p didn't move on up decently off the back of what was at least a a good latest SilverKing progress RNS

Maybe if there's a chunk of buying here now this s/p can first push on to clearly above 1p .. and that momentum begets further buying again ..etc..

I added some on the day of that last RNS and am open to adding more now; if I see others doing similar.

Again, this share price is extremely low versus the fundamentals here

PS: The last time I sold any of these doggies/puppies was in the early 30's p... a fair few years back granted because of the looooong suspension .. and I have sold some of these at up to 40 p ish too ...i'd use this context to offer that there's plenty of space for a proper re rate here/now..
