I've been looking in here for ten years plus now -posting sometimes too, but more or less given up - posting/generally - now.. but I still have a tiny holding here and look in when s/p movement ..

(I keep a tiny holding as I have previously been very lucky with this stock.. esp 2017... and so can't bring myself to sell up totally ..and I always want the long term holders to have their day 'in the end', not least after all the misery they've had to endure.. and hopefully someway/how that can still happen.. and anything can happen in this O&G game, I absolutely get)

Two poster observations, if I may:

The most balanced/high quality poster I've seen here in my time is Doc

The most extraordinarily skilled ramper I've seen here is my time is Mr WOS

A bit harsh comparing Mr Bird to Mr Lenigas imho

Look at the forecast revenues for 25 and beyond for eg...

And the q1 25 trading update said they were in line with expectations so far.. and there's grant income to recognise this year:

By my maths, that's approx. 150% increase in mwh quoted contracted/awarded versus the April 16th grsshaw noted quoted figure?

I note the s/p around that 16th April date was approx 12p..

I also note that 150% on top of that is approx. 30p

I also note that the s/p is only 17p ish as I type

So, by that definition, there's lots of catching up for this s/p to achieve asap?!

So, roll on 30p in short order here please!!

(and as this s/p is, in my mind, way too low by sundry definitions, I don't even see this post as 'a ramp')

And it does indeed make encouraging reading.

(While I like my bet here a lot, I also understand that there is plenty of hard work/good performance required to properly turn this company around.. and it's early down that path so far ... with nothing remotely sure in this game)

The company is of course not valued at 1.3p a share Bob; as I type it's valued at .85p a share.

But I'm hopeful that, in due course, it will be valued at 1.3p a share .. and plenty beyond that too, in further due course..

PS; In the interim, great if the four Directors of xtr.l were to show belief in their company by buying in the open market at anything/everything up to 1.3p a share, for starters ?!!!

(I don’t subscribe to IC, alas .. but great if you're for cut and paste of some key comments of theirs on today’s IHC report here. )

There was some punchy dumping and the s/p was falling 10 % ish lunctime ish... but decent buying at end of day helped a lot, thankfully.. (perhaps that from Mennen Medical, I'll GUESS)

Some 'kitchen sinking' in these figures too, I expect... and it's about looking forward now.. and that forward view seems decent/progressive.

Although one clear disappointment to me in that sense was :

''In 2023 the company submitted an initial application to the FDA for approval of the SLE6000 ventilator. Subsequently this application was withdrawn pending a more detailed review involving feedback from the FDA and input from external consultants to ensure the best chance of success. We now have a detailed plan aimed at developing a product suitable for the US market which will be submitted for FDA approval in due course. Given the extensive work required including biocompatibility, human factors and cyber security and the FDA approval timelines we now believe a realistic timeline for product approval is H1 2027.''

Still, there are plenty of other revenue increase avenues for this financial year .. and, as witnessed by the second half of that year ended, this business generally seems to be turning steadily around now.. (Albeit a proper turn around will take time, I get.. so I would somewhat agree with your sentiment re a lot of work still to do....but I'd offer 'plenty' instead of 'a lot' )

PS : A Mennen Medical offer for IHC could happen sooner rather than later too, maybe.. so that too will motivate people to be/stay involved in this share, I'd guess

I've listened to the bulls here previously and, putting it nicely, that hasn't gone so well for me, so far, alas.

But I'm fine with staying patient here, and this can of course turn out a decent/good BET for me in the end (not least as my average is, i guess, still semi low versus the field at 1.7 p ish)

While I've always been open to the listening the bears opinions here, I've not acted on them previously in any meaningful way.... which I somewhat regret now.

So a small tweak for me in my strategy going forward here, in the sense that Travelcards view of: ''I'm not so pessimistic Peggy. Def sub 1p though, .09p. Assuming a placing, I agree lower, perhaps .75p'' is one that I'm going to take as a basis for my thinking from here now.

So I'd only look to average down in the .90p to .75p range going forward here.. (while very much hoping I don't get to average down any further)

While such a level may not come to pass, hopefully; it clearly pretty easily could now too. So I now take it as a fair and reasonable guess, more so than whatever the latest bull/s views here.

Generally, sadly the bears have been WAY better at calling this than the bulls in the time I've been holding here (and decently before my time here too, the charts tell me).. So credit where it's due: I tip my hat to all the bears here!

If Mr Bird generally delivered peaches then buy and hold a fair play.. but he has certainly delivered plenty of lemons here, so far at least .. so making lemonade the best option in such circumstances .. as in range trading.

And I agree that the latest clear trade here is buy around 1p and sell in the 1.3p to 1.5p range.

The key facilitator for such a trade is 'imminent' potentially decent/good news flow. And there seems clear opportunity for there to be decent/good news flow here in the coming weeks and for that news to have good potential to be decent/good:

there's an AGM on the horizon to focus Mr Bird's mind too

And while I understand that some have been here a long time and suffered a lot in that time, I feel for someone relatively newly involved here - eg me -it's easy to be patient as copper production is increased in a structured/disciplined fashion.

Generally, there are broad based and solid fundamentals in place here now, and a seemingly strengthening financial disciple too. Also I'm somewhat bullish PGM's and plenty bullish PoC into 2026 and beyond:

So this is a very easy hold for me from here forward (with a view to 10 p + s/p here in a year to two's time)

PS: I might well be open to adding more if this were to fall any further. But as new medium term Investment money could easily like this share very interesting on a forward from here at anywhere near this s/p level, it may easily not fall much further.

I think Mr Bird awarding himself and his staff these recent share options - at a very lowly exercise price imho - is unrelated to any potential asset sale this year.

Instead I offer that it's 'just how he rolls.'

He's slippery when both wet and dry. But, towards balance, I also get he has some important skills for this AIM copper exploration game.

I struggled to get even close to 5000 shares at 14.25 p ish a little earlier .. now at 14.88 p I can get up to 20,000 at least.. but not more than that

(all via Barclays Stockbrokers.. 'Quote and deal' )

So supply seems clearly tight ...at sub 15p especially.. and likely beyond that too, I'd expect

This situation could feed a punchy rally this arbo, just from small size pi's looking to add a few grand more.. and if US retail buyers come in thru this arbo too then this might hopefully rally decently on again (and off the back any such rally .. it rally on thru coming days too)

I'm all for balance on BB's and so respect hxulcolrdoh's opinion.

And I generally learn more from reading posts that are different in opinion to my own.

Over time - and looking in/posting on many, many bb's -I've developed a rule of thumb to take somewhat less seriously the extremely bullish or bearish posters and be very open to taking a view somewhere around the midpoint of the intelligent strongish bear and intelligent strongish bull postings.

I remain reasonably comfortable holding here and see a decent chance of the save.l balance sheet being turned around thru 25 and especially thru 26.

Towards balance, the s/p is the absolute benchmark, and that it's 6 odd p at this moment in time, when it used be A LOT higher tells me that the companies balance sheet clearly needs meaningful turning around.

(And 'It's Africa'.. which equates to a risky play almost by definition in my mind)

Guy seems some guy for one guy for visionary thinking.. but it's plenty academic. alas.. I doubt he's on the inside, but I expect Mr Bird would see him as a visionary, just like himself.

Meanwhile back on/in the ground, progress continues to be slow/very slow and Mr Bird, generally, has his eyes on FAR too many balls at once.

The share price is the benchmark full stop....And not only is this one abject but to see it decreasing recently from still in the dirt level tells me that to get this to and stay above 1.5p is a very big challenge in itself.. and plenty of unequivocally good news is required to this end... but at least there are chanceS for this to happen thru 25 drilling season.. so here's hoping

PS: I rate Mr Bird and Mr Trump lowly. Which one I rate most lowly has me inconclusively pondering :-(
