RE: Hard to see a new CEO who wasn't a Bird 'Yes man'...13 May 2025 13:48
I agree to a reasonable extent with your sentiment in below post, Jackbal..
A big issue for me off the back of these - very - low ball options is the lower expectation I'm now developing for s/p performance, off the back...
eg If they'd been 2 to 3p range options I'd have said:
And so - if he so wants - believe that if he can get the s/p back north of 2p here thru 2025, his leadership here should not be seriously questioned for 2026 (.. and if he got it back of 4p in 26 ditto for 27 )
Instead of ( what I did say in my post two below):
''And so - if he so wants - believe that if he can get the s/p back north of 1.5p here thru 2025, his leadership here should not be seriously questioned for 2026 (.. and if he got it back of 3p in 26 ditto for 27 )''
Generally, Colin Bird prioritries xtr.l employees - himself absolutely included- too far ahead of his long term shareholders; but that is indeed kinda AIM in a nutshell, sadly. ( and this a pretty significant factor as to why the AIM market is in a deeply valuation depressed state.. but there are other factors too, I understand)
Still, I like the Assets here plenty.... and so, over time, I still think there's a decent chance this s/p will tick back up to 3 p + (at the least)
