I can't blame you Fevertreeman.. and I've often thought of doing the same.....but have cut the size of my bet and set a low exit price target as a compromise..

Even parking the previous enormously expensive Paraguay fail, there has been huge amounts of money spent on 'progressing' this company generally over the years, so , even including gross incompetence and supreme arrogance, I feel that there's got to be at least a medium chance of a business there that can around now generate a decent nett profit and with some good asset sell on value in place around now too .... especially with the current price of Oil & Gas being strong and looking like staying strong for a while yet. Altogether, surely this share can find a way of getting to 3 or 4 or 5p even in 2021/22.. so that's why I refuse to throw in the towel up at 2 odd p at least .. 3p maybe ...and 4p very likely my towel might be hurled...

Mullins might easily be practice writing his 8p paid post at this very second.. hope he gets to post it this afternoon

the volatility in this share is something else.. not for the feint hearted as they say.. but I still believe - aka hope - and remain long and strong here

i feel confident in assuring people here that the reason for such radio silence from save.l in 2021 has not been their total focus on sabotaging Shells onshore assets towards pushing them down to AK's target buy price(s)

With remaining phase 1 holes assay results seemingly/perhaps now to come all at once, and lab processing delays seemingly an ongoing problem, I'm guessing that early June may be a likely time for that RNS to drop.. but perhaps still a small chance we get that long awaited news by the end of this week.. obviously this week more desirable by far in case of further share price drift down into June....

( the share price being in the late 4's p currently doesn't surprise me much.. it disappoints me, but, altogether, I don't see it as very unreasonable in the circumstances )

'Bad' grades and 'good' grades are a subjective thing. And achieving commerciality can have wide ranging meaning.

eg Grades being 'good' / better higher up the hole versus lower down is useful in itself towards commercial small /medium scale open pit mining, but the overall average grades across the full depths drilled might still be considered 'bad' - by some/many - for some/all other holes drilled in phase 1 drilling versus hole one.

And, in case of any confusion, I'm generally fairly pleased with Xtr's overall progress, particularly in the last year ish .... although I'd like plenty of the Africa part of that progress to be much quicker generally.... but, from a few African operating Oilers I have bets on too, progress in Africa seems slow to very slow as a rule.

Hi CE. I, as yet, have no basis for expecting him to be 'a reformed character'. In my time here he has always been quick to give out what he believes to be 'good' news and either slow or very slow to give out what he believes to be 'bad' news. So far on Bushranger, we've seen the quick to give out what he believes to be good news aspect.... we wait to see occurances that will allow us make judgement on disproving - or proving - the slow or very slow to give out what he believes to be bad news angle here. My guess is a leopard can't change its spots. BUT, even if he's once again seen to be slow or very slow to give out what he believes to be 'bad' news, on a grander scheme of things, I'm not overly concerned.. phase 2 drilling programme will happen and what the asset is proven up to be in the end of phase 2 drilling won't change either way.....and I'd still be very surprised if there's, at very least, not some sort of a commercially decent open pit opportunity proven up here. And including xtr's African assets on top, 5p ish is far from a stretched share price here now altogether imho.

(PS: Even if it transpires that CB might have gotten overly excited too quickly here, I absolutly do not believe that was anything other than genuine belief /expectation on his part)

Alas, I don't have the expertise to even try and add to/ corroborate or whatever on those postings.

Yours and others best interpretation(s) so far is/are one - interesting - thing, but the CEO coming out in the media and giving his best interpretation so far another, altogether . So it's not just about him engaging in more media publicity, which is of course important in itself.. but, crucially, what he's prepared to say towards at least somewhat colouring in between the lines of those drill results so far around this time.. eg what approx degrees of confidence might he now have on them heading towards proving up what types of resource ounces of gold when for eg .. If he's not prepared to give any such colour - or very minimal only - on his recent RNS's at this stage then this share price may equally not be interested in waking up much at this time.. etc.

In his last interview I remember him finishing up by saying he expected the share price to go up off the back of upcoming assay results RNS's .. that effectively has not happened so far.. so instead of such general comments only, hopefully he'll feel comfortable/appropriate that he addd some more colour on where those assays results RNS's so far may potentially/likely etc be taking Lnd on proving up further resource this publicity interview(s) time around.

my guess remains : hole two results average to poor.. so waited for the next one(s) and soon decided best give a more complete picture by doing all the remaining phase 1 assays altogether.. and, including labs being slow generally to process assays currently, we'll get the lot together by late May/early June. And as the IP survey initial results were clearly good he thought best get those out in the interim towards giving a bigger picture perspective to frame upcoming assay results feedback within.

PS: if, into May, he has had no outstanding assay results at all back from lab then he may well have offered us such feedback already .. but if, into May, he had some but not yet all assay results back, and given his latest plan to RNS all outstanding assays together, then he feels best just say nothing on delays and send all o/s assay results out together when all received and collated.

a nice flight to safety rally for gold today and still we continue on down.. tricky share this.. has been for a long time and remains so to this day, alas .. gentle unloading here happens so readily/ongoingly.. even against a backdrop of very promising drilling program assays..
Assuming Humphries is stopped selling plenty of months back, the only thing I can think of is any prospective buyer (s) would be all for seeing this share price stay as low as possible for as long as possible...

I agree this company might well to be in a far better place now than it has been for a long -long- time.. but potential new investors need tangible proof of that and there are too many key things that Peter Levine is awfully slow to give out info on imho..

While good operating cash flow and profitability is one thing that should now - hopefully - be upon us - please elaborate at least somewhat on this quickly instead of us waiting for accounts in future etc - please give real colour on this versus planned well developments expenditure, which may gobble all operating cash flow/ profitibility quickly and more too. If no raise is apparantly planned is there a requirement to grow out of borrowing again towards delivering to resource development plans for eg? etc

The micro wins RNS's he posts are useful to an extent only, but there's too little trust left for them to have real effect on the share price imho.. old well performance/declines and overall field declines he avoids addressing.. overall production levels he's really slow to elaborate on....and, verrsus his past performance, the only thing the market can still be is suspicious/concerned ?

Generally, disappointing that once again this fell sharply from over 3p back into 2'sp .. indeed from meaningfully over 3p this time round.. but it looks like we will be back in 3'p soon again, hopefully.. and very hopefully this time round we can push on to 4p instead of falling back below 3p again... as that will be a new up range for this share and the basis of further legs up here.. even includng a few retraces that inevitably will happen along the road to 5p plus..

If the remaining phase 1 assay results are average or poor - accepting one persons definition of average or poor might vary decently from the nexts anyway, so somewhat nebulous granted - then CB releasing that IP survey RNS ahead of those may have been a good information management play by him imho.. worst case, I'd guess this share price could even have gone back into 3p's via - poor - assay results first way round RNS posting... whereas, worst case, this way round it may stay strongly in 4's .... Also he'd prefer to get that recent placing away without much background share price negative noise too, which was achieved.

Obviously average case and good etc cases for those assay results would be markedly better for share price versus afore scenario.. and any of those assay result outcomes could of course happen too. ( And collation of assay results can take a long - long.. even including re submission for double check purposes - time perhaps :-))
