Solid latest results update and this resource is going to be proven up to be A LOT more than already proven, ( that a lot being made up of decently more via this - soon to finish - program, and at least decently more again via the next progran too ..
(all imho..and assuming no company outright sale occurrance halts drilling at whenever time as we go)

Bill Humphries - and or an orther - needs to do some profile raising interviewS asap now.. and, crucially, he needs to COLOUR BETWEEN THE LINES for the market as to how the now plentiful ongoing micro drill results might feed into the future macro picture here:

At approx 75 per cent thru this drilling program, I'd expect he should now be able to give at least some sort of broad estimate of even a range of values he might hope for in their soon to be commissioned updated Mineral Resource Estimate ("MRE") and Preliminary Economic Assessment ("PEA")

If he can't offer something along these lines at this stage then it won't surprise me if this share price doesn't remains inactive in the coming weeks/ few months

Again, the drillling exercise started last October and is on schedule to finish in just approx 8 to 10 weeks time.. Come on Bill, you've now got to be in a position to at least somewhat help the market better understand the evolving picture here.. last interview I saw you finished by saying you expected upcoming drill results to be good and the share price to go up.. well, the share price hasn't gone up .. and you're an experienced pro whos has just come back from on the ground meetings/analysis.. and you've got a large amout of this program drilling results now released too the market too... so its fully time for some proper marketing of the extent of this exciting evolving story here now imho ?!

The one and only Mr Colin Bird is at least very consistent, in fairness. And that can be valuable for players of this AIM game too.

A rule of thumb I've developed over the years is that if Mr Colin Bird has good news to announce it'll be announced quickly/promptly versus expected announcement timeframes.. if bad news, it'll be announced slowly or very slowly versus expected announcement timeframes.. including being placed on the market at what is deemed a strategically approriate time, be that for eg after hours on quiet day or for another eg in and around other better news from elswhere across the group ..etc..

Generally, Bushranger has bought and, in some ways, will continue for some time yet to buy Mr Colin Bird much breathing space re Africa project progression.. and, especially in a Continent where things happen extremely slowly as a rule versus Western World norms, that's useful.

A mans gotta have a view and gettingby certainly has that and is of course as entitled to his opinion each and overy one of the rest of us. But I'd give that post a very low score for balance :-)

So towards a peak at the other side of the coin:

Perhaps the reason the IEA is seeing little/no need for efforts to discover more oil is because they're a lot more aware than most posting here of the extent of the Oil that has already been discovered - proved and probale, not to mind possible - in the World already ?! Parking Saudi and Russia and US production/reserves for a second, I note that Iran is still plenty isolated - definitely not entirely thanks to the Chinese etc - from World markets and offer as an eg that Iran too has A LOT of oil in hand already:

I also offer that because of economies of scale from large scale existing infrastructure, existing top tier Oil countries have but a few dollar marginal cost of producing almost ad infinitum many - many - millions of additional barrel of oil per day .... and while obviuosly a cartel supply arrangement is working well right now, if certain players wanted to turn up the taps to anything near their current overall capacity I'd guess oil could easily be brought to under $30 per barrel again in short order even in a pandemic recovery growth situation.

I note that this is just about the same s/p as matd.l Mullins.. so you can cut and paste your 9p paid, 10p , 11p paid etc posts from one to the other.. Maybe that's why you picked wres.l to have a bet on around now? :-)

And I'm very much looking forward to your '9p paid' post both here and there ! (I hope you're practicing away typing that one around now :-))

I've recently moved from semi optimistic to decently optimisic here now.. to the extent that I've already now done my last 3 top ups and gotten to my 10k max bet size for a stock of this - high - risk profile.. and indeed have now set aside another few k for the emergency top up pot here as that pot is now empty. Granted, I would only bet that extra few k if this goes back into 6p's and so for the rest of the long suffering here I hope I don't get to add any more here ! And I now feel I easily may well not get to add more here.

(Ps: If 7p was/is the bottom then I'll be very pleased with my entry levels here, even though I'm currently under water - 9.4 average - getting entry levels even semi close to 'the bottom' in the AIM game is very hard.
Finally, in terms of forward s/p view: if they can get things even mostly right from here forward I feel 25p plus is doable here by decently into 2022 )

Those Nigeria marginal field licences would very likely not be an appropriate play AT ALL for Zenith imho.. and AC understood this relatively quickly I'd expect...(most all of them are, at best, years away and meaningful ongoing investment away from producing first oil .. a headline may say first oil next jan .. but, i'd guess, that'll be from 1 of the 57 only and tiny oil early output too.. last time Nigeria did this exercise, many many years ago, for sundry reasons, nothing at all came of many of the licenses given out with many licences just forfeited over time etc.. this Nigeria marginal fields exercise BEST COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN on this BB imho

if it completes .. and I guess it will .. it's all about the details of the deal achieved.. I very much hope they are glaringly compelling.. but I see zero point in me speculating on those now as most speculation will be, as a rule, way off the mark.. but no doubt that won't stope huge speculation here thru the suspension period, however long that may be.

Altogether, it doesn't surprise me such a thing has happened.. and I have no idea whether to be happy or sad...

happy to do my bit here and so topped up mid 7's ish instead of the 6.9p I was waiting for.. hopefully for the the long suffering here this goes into 8's p instead of 6's p now.. (and doesn't go even close to 6'sp again !)

Speaking of Canadians Ted reminds me that I keep throwing money into Landore (Lnd.l) gold- and other metals on same property too like nikel- explorer Ted. If you had any view(s) on that, I'm sure the guys here would forgive you for taking a break from posting here towards instead sharing your wisdom on Landore over on the Lnd board ?!

In term of the extent of drilling that will occur here; I'm guessing that phase 2 drill program will be fruitful and throw up further compelling opportunities that will see xtract undertake at least a phase 3 drill program ahead of any asset sale/development program.

Manica/Africa revenue asap would be useful to that end as would good share price appreciation - from good remaining phase 1 and from phase 2 drill results and Manica/Africa progress generally too - occurring in June and in Q3 and Q4.

Altogether, plenty of twists and turns to come here yet, giving some trading opportunities along the road as well as good medium term buy and hold returns too.

I'm one of those who has got involved here relatively recently and bought tranches across the 12p to 8p range - 10p average - and I dont use stop losses as a rule .... While somewhat disappointed at where we're at currently, from a long time playing AIM I get that having an average that's semi close to the bottom is generally an achievement in itself.. and I'm still hoping I'll look back in a years time to see that I achieved that here with an average of whatever sub 10p

(So 5p would kinda shock me here and even 5.9 p would surprise me.. but some time in the 6's p i'm guessing may soon be upon us .. and I too have funds still set a side for up to 3 top up in the 6'sp.. and that would probably be me done buying here.. and then it would be hope and patience.. the hope being that this share will tick on up from q3 on withsustainably into the teens p doable in q4.. )

Agreed Unnd that it's unfortunate that there were not audited results posted today.. although, given they understood a week ago that they would have auditor signed off accounts by today, I don't expect there to be any meaningful issues arising now.. and just some administrative slippage.

The holding back of results till post market close call started was messy.. maybe he did it that way towards trying to get more Retails investors to participate on the call.. if they'd seen that RNS this morning or early afternoon they may not have bothered..

I didn't log into the call as I find AK boring and hard to understand and seemingly semi prepared only on such occassons etc.. its asset value and bottom line revs I'm here for.. and that seems to be progressing solidly imho.. so a hold and back to sleep for now for me here.

Apols if i've missed this being stated some time/where, but when is it expected Auditors sign off on these results ?

If PL had not kept pumping money in here in various shapes and forms, ppc.l may well have capitulated a fair few years back. But I see all such financial injections as him cleaning up his own made mess. eg The extent of speculative drilling expenditure on Paraguay first time around would ordinarily have been catestrophic for a company of this size.

Now, not only are we still alive but things have hopefully - probably even - been brought onto a very solid footing now too.

The financials / production outputs numbers later in the year will be a key driver of whatever re rate when I now feel .. clearly revenue will be relatively strong - or relatively very strong even/hopefully - but my guess is Mr Market has concerns around the development program expenditure year to date and especially planned going forward versus that revenue/future expected revenue. ( The crux of the issue to me is concerns on the extent of older wells deterioriating performance .. not least as he's so slow to give colour around that.. and so few trust the guy generally after what's gone before that the tendancy is to fear 'bad' news around this .. eg how much of the additional expenditure is towards just standing still in output terms.. and, of course, again, how significent are overall expenditure plans versus overall planned revenues in 2021 and going forward .. reasonable or good news around this should see a re rate here imho.. but that news needs to be delivered and crystal clearly visible in its communication )
