RE: Friday, Niger credibility and influence on AGM.26 May 2021 15:54
Fair play to you for all the questioning you do here Agadem. And the points you make that underpin your annoyance are, in plenty of ways, strong ones. But a - nother - push back if I may :
In my mind AK sees his II backers as key here - and ALSO the Nigerian Government and Nigerian Banks, who are closely aligned with their Government I expect too btw - and so assuming they have serious reservations about overall progress here so far may easily be a weak/dangerous assumption imho. AK may be easily be well aligned with key II's here on the evolution of save.l over the years - the funded a chunk of it after all - from a small cap Niger oil discovery play into a now very big and significently revenue generating West Africa focused Energy business. Alnd to me, while not explicity stated, the major acquisition of Seven assets in Nigeria changed the overall strategic priorioties here significantly by default, and in a fashion that's far from unreasonable (in my mind anyway).
Granted the overall share price performance since inception has been disappointing, but the things you guys are asking for asap may well involve large additional expenditure - akla borrowing /raise etc - that are big calls and if exected poorly - including in an untimely fashion ..eg a pipleline for getting meaningful quantities of oil to market - could be detrimental to the share price even from current pretty lowly levels. (16p is a lot more 6p I do btw note) So, again, measuring a number of times before plunging in generally has much merit as a rule imho.
