(again ) Small amount raised at IPO.. and subsequent to IPO, new shares issued for raises as they go towards incrementally feeding in new funds over the investment journey to build out the business (is my GUESS)

instead of 'are offered at', 'are listed on the market at' might be a better use of words there ..

and at what price per share the IPO shares are offered at !

Firstly 25% from 85% is 60 and not 65% ?

Going back to Brasso's point; the idea of an IPO is generally to raise meaningful funds to invest in the business to take it forward to revenue generation stage.. etc... so it's confusing to me why, seemingly, such a generously large amount - ie 60% - of the total shares being issued at time of Atome IPO are being gifted to existing ppc shareholders free of charge as a dividend ? But, unless I'm misunderstanding / misreading then that seems to be the case ?

So AllinEol's post below offering that the small -aka very small even - funds actually raised in the market from Atome IPO may just be to fund the process to FID.. and then the dilutions start via issues of new shares to raise new money to fund what's agreed in signed off FID through build out to go live/ revenue generation/hopefully, in due course thereafter, profit...etc.. would for e.g. make sense to me..

I would have preferred by A LONG way if they'd instead announced an intention to buy 13.5% of co's shares in open market over say a 6 month period (and cancelling all purchased shares... or only 10% even as buying into a likely rising s/p would be more costly for them granted) .... What they're doing now is something for shareholders granted, but only a small something versus an open market exercise like I've just mentioned .. such an open market exercise could have readily pushed this s/p over 500p imho ..

So I'm underwhelmed by this RNS.. and indeed am bored of this share and have been selling down slowly in recent months.. and will continue that process now.. and it's unlikely I'll sell any back to them per today's offer terms ..

I've always listened most attentively to Andrew as a rule on real World Africa timeframes/likely bottom line revenues ... and, so far, am very thankful I have (The one and only Mr Colin Bird is the person I listen second least to on the timeframes at least.. ps : least is Captain Bob on both timeframes and revenues :-))

Re Bushranger : I'm guessing that the volume of assay results upcoming in relatively short order in q4 21 and q1 22 etc allows Mr CB a little discretion on exact order/grouping of presentation of assay results .. towards perhaps marrying some average with some good/very good in some RNS's .. given for eg that some of the upcoming drilling is in more 'virgin' areas than previous and future other drilling; smoothing out the incremental feedback on the path to - likely/hopefully - overall strong wide ranging resource prove up in Racecourse/ Bushranger more generally is something that might happen here imho.... granted there may easily be plenty of s/p volatility here whatever anyway, I understand..

No doubt that Atome is a big opportunity for this s/p to push on.. Paraguay could help somewhat in this respect too, hopefully... So meaningful s/p progress in the next 6 weeks is crucial here imho...

(if this s/p was just about the Argentina and Louisiana businesses, the s/p would look a little undercooked but not majorly undercooked to me... President is still struggling significantly to get even semi respectable profit metrics out of its Argentina business imho, and this against a good po&g backdrop.. there have been and remain simply too many issues arising around smooth production from their live assets.. it's not just lost revenues from this, it's the double whammy of costing plenty to fix sundry issues that, alas, seem to continually arise... also bringing on new Argentina o&g production here always seems expensive to me versus plenty of other O&G plays I'm in )

going forward, AC would only raise for asset acquisition or asset development imho :-)

Only looking in /posting because of seeing the RNS.. so the rose tinters here need have no concerns about me posting regularly .. (with those posts to the tune of NOT just skirting over the negatives and just talking about the positives)

Part of me thinks that a placement this small is reassuring.. another part of me thinks that there's now still a reasonable chance they'll be back with another placing within 3 months.. so, as ever here, I'm confused..

Generally, while I feel this is undeniably a clusterbuck implementation by any reasonable definition, I still feel that those with sub 10p averages will do at least reasonably well over time here.. but, to multi bag - ie min 200% gain - here over time, may soon require averages of under 7p even.. alas..

I'm coming around more and more to your cannacord not selling any view now Jimzi .. but I'm defo. not 100% there yet.. indeed not 80% even .. approx 1m shares traded on a slow day like today is still approx 250k gbp .. and IF they were ever selling down it would have been in a very gentle fashion over many months anyway .. so they could be selling very approx 50k gbp for eg on slow days like today and 100k gbp for eg worth on higher volume days .. and such gentle selling would explain why it would take them so long to get to zero..

PS: you never came back on my q on whether you believe they would definitely have to declare as soon as they went under 3%, if the instruction was a - slowly - worked sell of full holding all the way down to 0?

Absolutely anything, share price wise, is possible Hazdogg, good and bad.. anybody who plays AIM O&G widely must get that.. not to mind African focus AIM O&G.. not to mind the journey we've had so far with save.l..... etc..

Being polite about it, I wouldn't tick the post from Soder up in a month of Sunday's :-)

That said, whatever happens in the short term, I still instinctively feel, over the coming few years, that the patient will likely - very likely even - be on a real winner with save.l

'only' very approx 50k gbp - by my rough cals.. happy to stand corrected - worth of trading volume today - far more sells than buys obviously- which is not a lot for an approx 5m MC co and yet we're down nearly 15 % .. shows how illiquid this is .. and it could rally hard on good news I guess if you're trying to find a positive.. and my word you do have try here..
(thankfully my bet on this doggy is relatively small.. and of so little value now, I've written it off.. but you just never know in this game .. still not tempted to average down so far.. maybe sometime in future.. maybe not..)

Thanks Samroy but those options are a totally different thing to buying shares on the open market ?.. And them buying shares in the open market as soon as allowable would, altogether, be MUCH more useful to the share price than those options imho..

I'm not sure we will see them adding in the open market either .. but Featherby said in that interview that they'd be open to it if they thought irt would help.. and it's a blindingly obvious thing to do to help the s/p around now imho..so they absolutely should asap in open period !

PS : generally, the problem with this game is that few of big ticket players ever buy punchily on the open market - eg Sprott - but many sell on the open market eg JWH

To me the obvious thing for them to have done/do recently would be to buy a chunk of stock in the open market.. Indeed I was hoping they were doing so to support the rally off early 20's p .. but any such would be notified by now, I guess.. so I'm going with they haven't, so far?

In that summer this year Humprries, Featherby interview that Samroy kindly posted yesterday - ref Sprott warrants - there was an answer given to one of the questions by Featherby that the managment team was open to buying stock in the market if they thought that would help.. imho a blind man could see that around now would be a great time for the management team to do that .. again, if not in closed period allows .

Such a purchase, as soon as allowable, would be a great opportunity for these guys to show even a semblance of - beyond drilling, in fairness - competence as a management team, perhaps ?!

it takes this update to get some posting going here.. so at least one thing good has happened today on this dead BB... and HS posts are always worth a good read imho..

I topped up a small amount at just under 3p .. so there's at least 1 buy HS !.. indeed 25 trades showing so far here - with delay it'll be more - so MM's marked down not just for the hell of it...ie there was selling straight off the back of that RNS..granted it's a very illiquid name and so takes little to move down.. (or up even.. so this could bounce back a bit from 38% down thru rest of today, maybe/hopefully )
