Fine RNS and I topped up first thing this morning. (the tranche i sold recently at 1.55p I bought back at 1.78p.. oh well :-))

And a genuine chance for some consistent very good momentum here now.

Understood that the market will be a little cautious here given the history, but those 3 new oil wells announced as coming in even decently soon enough would then have seen two really strong pieces of bottom line accreditive news quickly on the bounce... and this s/p would surely have to wake itself up meaninghfully to that..

So please PL show us a corner has well and truely been turned here .. and 3p plus could be on the cards quickly enough imho.. Indeed this news alone could push us over 2p readily enough in coming days, hopefully.. and the new oil well news soon to come then on top might see some more buys here in hope for that too.. and if that news were then good.. etc..

Feels like there has been a lot of selling here for quite some time now.. thankfully the likes of abrdn countered with some punchy buying too... but given these Chad deals - which on paper seem excellent deals for save.l, doubly so even given current poo - are likely but a few months away from fully completing AND this s/p might easily have been at this level anyway now even if those Chad deals had never been heard of, the s/p action so far in 2022 has been disappointing to - even a low expectations guy like - me... indeed approaching very disappointing even ....but, for a combination of reasons, this share has always been a complicated one, where s/p gains have been extremely hard earned .. so you could say it's just being consistent..

Generally, when these Chad deals fully complete, I'm hoping for a decent to good pick up in s/p here btw..(note I said decent to good and not excellent .. and I'd be very pleased indeed if this was in 40 -50p range at the back end of this year)

I haven't lost faith at all in Bushranger. And I'm very excited about African assets from later in 2022 onwards too.

I have very good hope for a Bushranger sale in due course; even if it was for 10 or 15p a share and in a year or more's time, then that would be a very tasty win in my mind.. and Ascot right next to Racecourse should give a bunch more respectable altogether tonnage, at the very least.. giving a very exciting open pit model across those two porphories together.... and that's my bad case scenario - not worst case of course - and good, very good and excellent case scenario's in Bushranger can happen too.

Generally, I'm very hopeful that African assets would justify a 5 to 6p s/p here on their own by later in 2022/into 2023 anyway.. and pay for plenty further Bushrtanger drilling as/if apppropriate.. and that's one hell of 'a hedge' to have in the first place!

Altogether, I categorically like this stock a lot.. and at 5p there's strong opportunity for significant to very significant share price appreciation from here imho.

must admit I'm tempted to add more here now.. and all of a sudden I'm wondering why i've only got 250k of these doggies currently.. -and selling a tranche at 1.55p ish recently is looking dumb now....at least where I put it instead has gone up decently too - and I just always struggle to pull the trigger to buy here.. I put that down to my years of trauma here :-)

Excellent posting as ever MarketGunslinger and it's mostly your analysis that has given me some belief here.. otherwise I'd likely have given up here a while back ( I'm back to 10k gbp in here now btw)

Comparing small O&G Co's is very dangerous for all sorts of reasons and so I'd not even think about offering you another oiler listed on lse to do a similar comparison with.. and i'm in 12 ish others currently.. and have been in a bunch of others previously too..

Re the sniping: I filtered Takeyourbets a long while ago and then took him off filter out of curiosity on some trail I was reading when I started to look back in here more seriously from early 2022 .. sure there are also a few others involved in the childlike trails that ruin this board.. but I've participated on many many other boards on LSE over the years and takeyourbets was only the thrid person I ever filtered.. and I abolutely believe he is up there as one of the most child like posters I've ever come across on these boards.. and the nett damage he does to this board is very large indeed imho..

about time this wakes up.. joke low still imho.. the World has changed utterly and energy independence and high O&G price themes are back with avengance .. and with the huge scoping - including financing options - that spot on energy did fairly recently and the infrastructure in Cobh and the permissioning they've already received from Irish government this is as close to oven ready as you're going to get imho..

I've aded some here - to that legacy seriously underwater position - for the first time in a long time.. and will add a bit more soon too.. and maybe a bit more again soon after too.. It could be a new paradigm from here for Barryroe, very hopefully..

Seems a bit optimistic to me on the filling the car with petrol front indeed :-)...and a lot optimistic to me on the 37.5p offer front, alas.. on what I've seen so far from Bushranger assays anyway.. but Ascot will hopefully be a big step on again.. and a n other porphry(s) would help too.. so a lot more ducks need lining up from here for anything vaguely resembling a 37.5p Bushranger offer to materialise imho..

(I offer the share price as I type as support to my view.. on what I see as an altogether good Bushranger jouney so far, I attribute 2 odd p as the market valuation of Bushranger in xtr's share price as I type.. that's shockingly little by any definition .. and while I understand a lot from other similar shares I hold -eg Landore and Amur before Putin invaded Ukraine - that that value isn't remotely in the share price as a rule ahead of any possible takeout; 2 odd p to 37odd p is still one hell of a disparity by any most any definition... but roll on a great Ascot journey in the coming few months and my view might change plenty, hopefully)

I hear what you're saying Joeman, but there might be 'an opportunity' for a lot more drilling to come from Ascot and even a n other porphory(s) too.. especially if next target drills progress very favourable.. so looking to avoid any negotiations for six more months of longer might equally be a valid strategy too .. Generally, I don't have a problem with the strategy in monetising Bushranger being fluid as latest driling influencing it significantly understandably often makes fluid strategy the nature of the game..

( if I hadn't been here a long time, I'd have an issue with CB coming up with 'hard' indicative timelines that are, in reality - very even - unlikely to be met.. as without witnessing it first hand regularly previously it would be hard to fully grasp his long history of farce in that context )

Interesting that two of the three key meaningful s/p rally drivers Andrew notes below are Africa assets related. I broadly agree with his post and it re inforces to me how lowly the market continues to rate Bushranger.... that surprises me a little - not as much as it might previously have had as there are other similarish occurrances in my p/f eg Landore has been a mare and there's more macro in common with it and Bushranger than might first meet the eye imho and it's a joke low s/p imho- and disappoints me alot.. Also, if f this Bushranger journey turns out to be plenty longer than CB has recently been offering - and it very, very easily might - it will. hopefully, be Africa revenue that shelters this s/p ... (I curently see Africa assets as 3-3.5p ish of this s/p btw.. and could, hopefully, see that growing to 5p + in 2022.. )

Companies such as this are always hoping for that commercial breakthrough.. such as a licence agreement or JV or asset(s) / company sale or merger or next raise etc, Silverknight .. and you take a view on the potential of their technology and /or drugs and bet accordingly .. and I especially like the potential of Q-Sphera delivery technology here.. and this RNS gives considerably more confidence to my view ... but much chance involved still of course..

Generally, there's still a decent existing cash runway here too.. so the have 9 months to get that licence agreement still.. and even if not achieved then, they could still get another raise away late this year giving them another year plus to find a way..

and great if this share wakes up now..

and ironic MLS and I have perhaps more 'real world' perspectives here.. and are still topping up here recently.. bodes well for the uber bulls, hopefully :-)

what you're looking for and what you get might be two very different things here Florida..

..being nice about it, I think those s/p targets are dreamy...but anything can happen in this game, granted.. and a form of miracle for eg for 7 - 10p by end of 22 - which I think is hilarious btw - might be required.

PS: plenty of the new licences - hopefully - on the horizon here might come with 'new' terms that reflect the uber bull market in O&G.. that makes them less appoealing by far than if they had been granted in 21 for eg and I'd bite your hand off for 2.5p here btw..
