I really want to like Mr Colin Bird, and understood you have to be - at least - a glass half full guy to do what he does for as long as he has done.. and I get that anything can happen when you're drilling 'oles, so up to the - stock - buyer to understand the risks they're taking in getting involved in such stocks...etc..

BUT...

I could now make an arguement it's 'worse' CB is getting, and that from a starting position of meaningfully overly bullish in all things timeframe and revenue related to xtr.l. And that could reasonably be categorised as poor/disappointing performance in some - but not all granted - aspects of his job. And the clear answer in my mind is for him to bring senior management into xtr.l as soon as affordable that are good at the things he is not good at.

i'm with marketgunslinger that the Nomad would make zen.l post an RNS if licence(s) in Tunisia had been categorically lost.

Generally, working arrangements/agreements 'under the covers' can be complicated and so easily misunderstood by the layman.

That's not to say there may not be some current complications in or around some Tunisia licence(s) .. and these are currently being 'ironed out'. Also, there might not any such complications either, of course. (If there were complications that could play out in sundry ways the Nomad might agree with the company that best they be fully worked through ahead of any RNS, I'd also understand as a valid possibility, granted)

It was only Oct 21 ish when Falanx sold its Strategic Intelligence Division, Assynt, for £4.6 million.. and they still have a reasonable chunk of that to burn thru..granted the fact they've burnt thru a chunk of it already is far from ideal.... but that could be in the realms of - further- 'up front' investment to transform the business towards turning it nett profitable in due course.. ahem .. and hopefully..

1) There are at least 5 top quality posters here and i'm extremely thankful for them, you know who you are .. (and you know who you are not, tyb :-)) PS: If Zengas was to post more here, I'd be thrilled.. not least as save.l is suspended and his utterly brilliant posting there is natually smaller in volume through this suspension period

2) Congo is a joke of a country and I'll quickly get over Tilapia ( and if, in due course, we can get $10m dollars or more into the coffers off the back of the journey there, then that's a reasonable outcome imho)

3) The plans to grow out our Italy business excites me a lot here.. and as that is achieved, I'm all for the company focusing more on Italy and less on Africa generally..

4)12m Market Cap here feels very - squared - low, in the round, to me here

5) As long as AC is learning from his mistakes as he goes then the future can still be bright here.. plenty more patience required of course... and an easy way to achieve that is to see this as a low priority Investment/Bet for a while and think about other Investments/Bets more and this less

No rush as far as i'm concerned either, but that in a context of when I might be adding back more to my currently small bet in play here..

I conceptually like this stock a lot as the medium term bet, granted.. but margins on current generation battery sales and the Riverfort? loan facility potentially bring further drawn on keep me cautious here.

(I thought about adding some recently when this briefly hit 35p.. but didn't .. as 33p - or somewhat lower even- soon ish is still a clear possibility in my mind here.. but great if I'm wrong, not least as my current small live bet here is already underwater)

anywhere in the 18p to 36p range at OPEN on day one after suspension is my guess, Hazbeen.. for the many who might - well - say that's not helpful my question back too you all is: how long is a piece of string?

The very least this company is now, is solidly progressive. It also has a decent to good chance to being very progressive more recently and well into the future too.

I said previously I think the s/p should be 10p+ now. I'd be a bit more bullish than that off the back of this mornings RNS's. So here's to 12p + soon enough! (please)

Maybe Cela looks at the xtr share price every 6 months nowadays.. towards staying in line with the pace of diclosure Mr CB has - 'decided to' - set here in more recent times :-)

Such pace for additional Bushranger disclosure I somewhat get, albeit grudgingly.

Such pace for Manica 'ard I'm genuinely annoyed by. I understand that it's a slow(er) ramp up, but it's a live production situation and so more colour than the recently offered 6 monthly update is a very - very - small ask imho.

That Manica 'ard revenue is the key progress driver here in 2023.. not least as the pace of its grow out dictates the pace of Bushranger further resource discovery.

In the afore context, I can't be overly annoyed at where the s/p is at around now.. albeit I think 2.5p ish around now would be fair and reasonable.

This is defo waking up today though.. I bought a small amount earlier.. and am starting to feel compelled to buy some more soon..

interesting rise today.. caught me a bit off guard, in truth.. still defo. don't have as many of these as I'd like to have.. will add cautiously as we go....

(Generally, under 3p feels cheap to me here though.. so still a fair amount of time for me to add more, incrementally, I'd hope..)
