Interesting feedback on that headcount drop too.. such a headcount fall feels pretty small to me actually .. so I'm guessing there's bandwidth for a fair few more to go - eg business development department.. etc - if needs be without compromising their offerings or ability to add new business slowly but surely as they go .... which is the best they'll be able to achieve anyway, I'll guess.. (this industry having plenty of staff turnover as demand - new opportunities - is high .. and so they just don't backfill all that move on of their own volition ...and no redundancy payments there too.. etc )

Update was more or less what I'd have guessed...

Months back, when Roly first his offered calcs re falanx running out of money late in 2023, I offered back that decently downsizing staff numbers was fairly readily doable relatively inexpensively and would potentially buy them plenty more time.. remember that with the proceeds from selling part of the then business a couple of years back, they had invested in expanding staff numbers in the core business in a push for meaningful new business gains quickly.. meaningful new business gains haven't happen quickly... and hence the obvious solution was to cut staff costs back..... towards right sizing staff numbers - and losing some 'deadwood' - and that has now been done..

IF they can now/soonish find a sustainable balance of decently lower costs while still steadily growing revenue then this business can still become self sustaining....and then a current market cap of even approx 2m gbp - its approx 1m gbp now -would look low imho ..

Also if they could get to that around net breakeven position in the next 6 to 9 months, then they're much better opening up the chance that another company might see buying them out for a - fair - few million gbp in 2024 as a good idea...

This is still a very high risk bet from here, granted... and I'll remain with my 3k gbp bet in play - now worth 1 odd k -and no more: I still have semi reasonable hope for the future here..

Solid and progressive update indeed....but Mr Market still has a few question marks in its mind, seemingly..

my guess is some/plenty of the questionmarks might be around the delivery of our next gen battery, Mistral.

From recent RNS's we are now pretty clear that Mistrals development is going more slowly than earlier envisaged.

And Siemens Gamasa Renewable Energy having a financially bad/ awful 2021/2022 period was unfortunate timing too.. (building, installing, servicing etc Wind Turbines for eg has gotten a lot more expensive all of a sudden in these inflationary times) Their subsidiary Gamasa Electrical has the agreement with us for joint development of Mistral

PS: Quirky that the Siemens Gamasa Renewable Energy Management business turnaround Plan has been named Mistral too btw.. perhaps that maybe could be interpreted as a good omen though.

I again see Mistral mentioned plenty in todays RNS but again without Gamasa Electric mentioned alongside (or its parent Siemens Gamasa Renewable Energy)

I think somebody recently fedback here that Invinity Management confirmed that this development partnership is still well in train ......so, including our recent standalone Canada Plant for Mistral build/testing etc announcement, my latest GUESS is that Invinity is, around now, purposefully distancing itself from co 'branding' alongside Gamasa and is also hedging its final stage Mistral development/build/ testing bets in case financial woes continue at Siemans Gamasa Renewable Energy, and by extension having a meaningful - to Mistral Program - knock on effect to its subsidiaries.. etc.. but the co development of Mistral has still progressed at least decently - albeit a bit more slowly than hoped -under the covers over last approx 2 years....

Sad really.. but it's clearly a hard core gamblers stock imho.. and I am that.. and understand you can lose - very- heavily readily with such an orientation... you can win heavily too sometimes.. but I'm now feeling I wish I never heard of this stock.. very disappointing.. but it is what it is ..

I would add that IF q2 invoiced sales results are poor - or worse - they may well have to downgrade their 23 annual guidance too.. and towards deciding on new revised targets they may want to see how at least July is playing out.. maybe into August too.. as this is getting into their peak season then ish.. and so whatever view they glean in July + would allow them better chance of more accurate revised sales target.. etc.. so Q2 sales numbers might be slow to come out - eg August ish - if its a poor - or worse - Q is a view i'll throw out here now..

Agreed that CB should add punchily to his holding here Gixxer...I'm pretty confident he's a very wealthy man too.. so it's somewhat incidental for him to add say another 100k gbp for eg to his holding here soon...(I feel soon more than now might be a better play from his perspective though)

Generally, I'm guessing that it will be more the end of summer ish before he looks to crank the game up here again.. and he'll look to have a few good news items lined up to get out one soon after another, to get this s/p moving up again around then.. and more useful in his mind to add more to his holding around then rather than around now, perhaps

Good idea on me filtering you too Noel.. I've done that now. ( the 5th person I've ever filtered on these bb's and I've been in 100 plus AIM stocks and looking in on plenty more boards again than that here over the years )

The company gave little feedback last year and results, when they came, still gave us some hope going forward.. so a chance of ditto this year.... maybe , hopefully..

Also, the NOMAD and the Company have legal obligations on disclosing price sensitive info..

Generally, this is very illiquid and any sort of half decent selling can massacre the s/p.. Amati going form approx 7 % to approx 6% here hammered this too, seemingly.. although you never know who else is selling too, granted.. but no other II has posted a holding decrease RNS this year, some all could be selling v small/slow too granted ..

Great to see this going up punchily off the back of that nice Mail on Sunday shout out .. and needed here after recent pullback... (and as much of the rest of my p/f is struggling badly in this market, much appreciated this one bouncing today generally too :-))

I'm still hoping that if this can find a way of breaking thru 45p that it can leg up decently again off the back.. I've been waiting patiently for it to break out of that to 45p range too.. and it has taken its good time !

PS: Are Tesla car batteries versus Invinity scale grid storage batteries not 'comparing apples and pears' ?

My guess is you've had very few friends in life Noel, and will have very few friends for the rest of your life either.

Amati continuing to sell down the reason for the ongoing s/p decimation is my guess. They had come down from approx. 7% to 6% holding of co's shares last holding RNS, mid this month .. can't remember reporting requirements - think domicile of investor a factor in those too - and as all RNS's cleared when this company changed name I can't deduce from previous RNS's but, from vague memory, maybe every 1% down - until 3% and then no more required - requires reporting if investor UK registered co. .. so a big ways to go yet for them to clear out totally, if that's their intention... and if they keep on selling this s/p could of course go much lower again from here, sadly/catastrophically

Generally, they may be doing this as a F+ck you to the company.... as they are were so far down already that they've decided to just write their investment off on their books and bring the s/p down as low as they can as part of their exit strategy, out of distain towards fcs management. Hopefully at some point some one will block hoover up all their remaining holding in short order.. but that might not happen .. and if it did it might well be at decently sub 10p granted..

The thing that gives me a tiny amount of hope here is that the Nomad would sooner rather than later make the company disclose very serious business performance issues to the market .. so Amati might not be selling out because of a view of potential bankruptcy imminently upon fcs for eg.. (and, from memory, off the back of one arm of business sale a few years back, FCS had enough money in bank still to get through this year, if business stayed as was or weakened a little only.. and if is weakening a lot the Nomad would have made them notify, I'd guess) So I'll stick with my guess that FCS is not going under this calendar year.. even including a raise of even half a million now being undoable anymore.... and the business might have some on sale value of a million or three too even.. but it may, in the round, have zero on sale value too, I get...

I've more or less written off my 3k gbp bet here now. - worth 900 gbp as I type- but if this was to go sub 8p I might even throw another 1k gbp at it... little difference writing off 4k as 3k .. etc...as a punt on a meaningful bounce of some description.... even if that's a dead cat bounce....

..but if /when this does go under nobody can say they were unfortunate .. as they've had endless do overs over 10 plus years etc..and at least they created/maintained a bunch of pretty well paid jobs thru that time.. that the basis of keeping Capitalism working the World over... )

Being out of this around now might leave one exposed to the potential of being caught with ones pants downs .. usually not a good thing... but more likely here versus elsewhere, perhaps?

I'd go as far as saying such innuendo has been over done here for so long now that's it's just limp now.

PS; I should have also mentioned that I exposed a portion of my holding to range trading the hardenings and softenings of fum.l over the years too.. with generally pleasurable outcomes... but am less clear on that angle of penetrative play going forward....
