I reckon Perenco will want full ownership and will look to buy Blvn out up front of developing Etinde.... and Bowleven will bite for even a semi decent offer .. and a semi decent offer would see this s/p MULTI bag from 4p not to mind 2p..

(Blvn is run by a bunch of hedge fund guys who just want their money back and a turn ...and walk away from this and stick with the day job in future)

Thought provoking that even after the 'speeding warning' last week... and s/p retrace off the back... we have this rally today.. but at 2.2p as I type this s/p is still joke low imho .. so wake me up again if/when 4p ....

ps If this is still rallying tomorrow arbo ..... I bags the I wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend line :-)

I think they should spare us the 'response to share price movement' RNS this time round.. it was only a week ago when they issued the last one.

Also, this s/p collapse has been barbaric... and adding a few hundred per cent from 1 p ish for eg is barely scratching the surface of that fall..

PS: Generally, this company's share of Etinde and FID terms and New Age buy out in progress etc makes this worth a hell of a lot more than a penny or three by any definition imho

Last one before I log off for the evening:

CB was utterly wrong in his short term view on the price of copper.... part of his job here is to have a good - 'expert' - view on that.. granted it's a lottery... but he failed prodigiously in that context recently... (You need to be at least one of good or lucky in this game.. ideally both, of course)

I do not want CB to resign (but I do want him to succession plan with a view to retiring in a year or three's time)

Good debate guys.. merit on both sides .. fair play to you both.

(Towards me getting off the fence: While I think Howzap is a fine poster, ongoingly making many good points and I'm very thankful for him here ..and while I also think the market is being very harsh on valuing BR at zero currently.. I'm still leaning towards Gixxer's perspectives generally here, around this time: $10m plus? spent on BR to date and the market - guessingly granted - currently valuing BR at zero is frightening to me; the market price at whatever moment in time is the benchmark the game is played against)

Perhaps CB should do the AGM via video conferencing in from his box at Ascot ? (thus missing as little as possible of this Friday's afternoon meet there too !)

I have no interest in going to this AGM but hope that those who do find it worthwhile.

And great if CB looks to show humility more than God complex from here forward, including:

1) he makes very clear that, as well as fundamentals, he gets that his credibility is a key driver of this s/p...and the s/p speaks for itself as to where his credibility currently stands

2) he gets that he needs to do something about being spread WAY too thin across all his interests .. which also feeds into what's going on re delegation and succession planning at xtr too (instead of reversing this trend, he seems to be spreading himself more thinly again even imho)

3) While I absolutely respect CB's strengths - knowledge/experience, marketing orientation, vision etc - and instinctively always want to be a fan of his, some of his behaviours here in more recent times have seriously annoyed me. And even the perception that he's fine with treating shareholders like mushrooms - mostly kept in darkness and intermittently fed sh^^t - sees xtr.l s/p on its knees as a rule

For the market to value Bushranger at 0p..

This shows that, on fundamentals, there's clearly plenty of opportunity for this s/p to rally decently/strongly thru the rest of summer... and beyond....

This got to 2.3p a few months back when we had an early view on good monthly revenue soon coming from manica hard rock gold.. we now have plenty more clarity on that, including in RNS.. so I was expecting/hoping for a rally to 2.5p ish + thru this summer.. still am .. but such rallies happen in their own way / shape / form ... and nothing is guaranteed.. not least as the CB annoyance factor is an obvious counter to the strong fundamentals here .. and short term traders will always have some impact, and that growing incrementally as a rally grows....

For this to get back past 2p feels, at this moment in time, a bit trickier than I expected.... the fair few sales today indicate there's more than one 'John Swan' out there, seemingly.. a pity.. still... the fundamentals here tell me that this is definitely priced too low currently.. and so I expect this to rally decently further on up soon enough ..

(Bushranger is worth a minimum of 1p per share as a sell on asset to another small cap explorer imho.. but some will still currently value it at zero, I expect... and Manica is currently worth a minimum of 2p a share and max of 5p a share....)

I hope Mr WOS is not shopping AGAIN... I offer that until this s/p gets past 7p, Mr WOS needs to curb his shopping trips with Mrs WOS to buy 'shoe' !

(or buy one shoe per shopping trip, instead of two.. ie when he say he go shopping with Mrs WOS to buy 'shoe' he should literally mean this at anywhere around this current s/p imho)

Please, Oldschoolview, could you mention to Mr Colin Bird at your end of week team meeting today that him adding decently to his position here next week would be a statement thing to do ahead of the AGM... towards helping turn down any heat he might get ?! (assuming he's not in a closed period ?)

PS; A nice Bushranger pre sortation study progress RNS from ahead of said AGM might work very nicely too ..
