I'm at least pleased with this RNS, closer to very pleased even.. and the figures he talked about in in the recent podcast has now been confirmed in RNS (including vetting by Nomad)

The future looks very bright for Manica revenue for xtr .. eg very approx 4 to 5m gbp pa to xtr for years to come.. with potential for that to be grown out further too... and this makes the current s/p just too low by most any definition imho..

(I absolutely do not believe this s/p should be under 2p now)

Is OldSchoolView Alastair Ford in disguise ? (nothing else has worked to justify the salary.. a 'tricky' for CB AGM is coming, so worth a try is perhaps the thinking .... but I'm going to open in offering that I'm thinking that this won't work either.. but fair play for trying :-))

It makes me laugh across these BB when sundry posters call out 'paid rampers/derampers'.. I reckon ninty per cent of those who are called out as such are not - they're just talking their book at that moment in time - but we categorically have a live one here:

My guess is that there will be a good news RNS here in very approx 2 weeks time... and plenty of that RNS's contents will even be genuinely good news too

( eg Manica Gold progress, including feel for recent & future revenue to xtr... and probably some positive(s) re pre concentration study progress down the Bush too )

Why should Copl MM's have some notion of what this company is really worth? Ask 100 experts - analysts , top posters here, Company Management, each COPL MM etc - what this company is worth at whatever moment in time and you'll get a VERY wide ranging / varied response.

As this point is fundamental to your post, I think your post has some merit more than huge merit.

MM's have an obligation to make prices whatever.. and can sometimes - often with copl maybe even - end up with a bunch of stock on their books that they want rid of asap.. and if they have to lower their offer price again and again etc to shift it then they might easily be sitting on large loses off the back, loses that whatever spread they make per all transactions might not come close to covering.. and so of course they may therefore do what they can/need to make back those loses or to try and mitigate further loses similarly again arising going forward.

Generally, Market Making in a stock that goes fro 35p ish to 2p ish over two year could potentially be very financially damaging to an MM, even including turns they make on the spread via transacted volume.... hence why they may well be open to using every technique in the book - including around some 'grey areas' that they think they can get away with etc- that they can while Market Making here.

In conclusion, Market makers had nothing to do with Bond holders being required by Art to save this company a few months back, and those Bond holders writing their own terms off the back of this emergency situation .. the MM's, like us PI's , are just dealing with the fallout/consequences from this as best they can.

In English, 'doing my here' translates to 'doing my bit here' btw

By topping up yesterday and today ( (and Friday ) .. if plenty of others do their bit too.. then 2p here we come..

...and this s/p should not be under 2p now imho..

(what he said in that recent podcast should generally be in an RNS in due course.. and due course might easily be close too - ahead of - the AGM, for obvious reasons )

The CB content of that podcast absolutely has the basis of a very bottom line impressive RNS re Manica imho too JamesisC.. in both short its and medium/long term contexts....

And putting out such an RNS would be far more s/p friendly than that interview without a related RNS off the back ..

But that interview alone was appetite whetting to me generally, even including the C Bird_sh2t factor ...so i'm surprised by people talking about this s/p going down in the morning .. If it does I'll buy more : the short and medium term potential of Manica alone, makes this s/p very appealing to me around now.

Towards balance - and why l'll be slowly looking to somewhat build back out my currently small bet here - I do think the underlying financials are going steadily in the right direction here...and can readily enough continue to do so.. especially if they hit the revised target of 120kt invoiced sales for this year..

...but my instinct is that they'll do very well to hit that revised target.. eg i'll guess is there's say a 40-45 % per cent chance they'll not make this revised target.... and I'll further guess that that they may easily have to revise down their prices once or twice thru rest of year too..

but even for eg around 100kt invoiced sale at for this year at a bit lower average sales price in second half versus first might well allow BMcM offer that the financials here remain solid and broadly progressive.. and that 2024 can of course be readily decently progressive versus a tough 2023 too.... (and the s/p could be plenty closer to 10p than 1p for eg versus such a backdrop..... )

no but do i blame colin bird for a master class in bull_**** artistry - 'or bird_****' artistry even - in his bushranger copper commentary over at xtract ( towards an eg of aim execs and fairytale telling generally)

...and, while not in that league, in fairness, i do still think b mcmaster has given a minor 'master' class in bull_**** artistry over many years here...

that 100k share buy at 1.26p just now is mine.. and i will be adding more into any further weakness from 1.25p on down too.. if there is any further weakness, hopefully there's not, obviously..

i believe the fundamentals here are worth far more than an mc of 10 odd million gbp.. even including the 'bird****' factor...

(again, i don't think this s/p deserves to be under 2p now.. even including the aim market and this sector being at a - very - low ebb around now too .. so i'll once again go with history shows that a good time to buy on aim is often when fear abounds and s/p's are in the realms of 'the pits'..)

Speaking of arrogance, B McMaster strikes me as having displayed his fair share of that here.. while more humble in todays, interview that's only because it's has categorically been forced on him..

(He asked in todays TMS interview for someone to explain to him why there's so little trust in the company:

But, in fairness, you're no better or worse than many many AIM executives.. and there seems generally less and less - and less - trust/belief across the AIM market in these Executives.. and that sentiment is a fair and reasonable one imho.. because the outcomes VERY rarely match the 'stories' told : AIM Managements 'marketing orientated story telling' starts to get the company to market in the first place.. and continues similarly thru the Co's life on the market... The rules are defined: talk up positives and, as best you can, bury negatives ongoingly..... and the cumulative effect of this is reality versus presentation are generally chalk and cheese to the extent of it being akin to bed time story telling to children.. where real world occurrences aren't remotely similar to the fairy tale story telling ongoingly furnished by your average AIM executive....

That said I think the tide will come back in here somewhat next year.. and so I added small this morning and may add small again as we go.. with a view to getting to back towards medium bet - for me - in play here into next year with an average price of half my previous average price - eg 3.5 p versus 7p

ps B McM saying this is of course subject to the ebbs and flows of the tide absolutely makes it a trading stock in my mind.. and AIM is more about trading than buy and hold as an across the board rule nowadays...
