I recall Chairman Bell tweeted a pic of a few gents and ladies waiting outside a room and it said "Kinshasa" which I recall was the Court. The room was very spartan.

Yes it does matter in the sense if Chairman Bell returns to the DRC Court in Kinshasa or "Palace" for finalisation. If it is to the DRC Court of Arbitration, then it is a hearing for finalisation or pre-ruling? But, Chairman Bell at the interview on Tues, 13.8.24 stated: RRR Legal Counsel issued a "Rappel" [French for Reminder Letter] and papers [presumed to be legal papers]. So, taken together, "Finalisation" of RRR RNS of 16.8.24 may have to be taken , IF so wished , with the interview details above of Tues, 13.8.24.

But any legal counsel could explain the process if anyone wished to consult further if they engaged a lawyer in the DRC isnt it?

Caveat: All what is commonly known of the processes but IF anyone wants clearer info, then contact Chairman Bell as he has a Twitter handle and RRR also has one. If RRR follows you, then you are allowed by Twitter to message RRR but if RRR does not follow you [Joe Public], then per the rules, one cannot message anyone that does not follow one.

I dont care what "Palace". But what time will have to be told to Chairman Bell. If it is an evening engagement [think it was said on this forum that DRC is very hot in the day time and meetings are in the evening]. If it is office time, Chairman Bell will have to wear his normal business suit. If it is evening and informal and there is a dinner as well, then, more informal. That is why one has to note time, place.

It should be normally in the offices of the DRC Govt and this is common everywhere. No one goes to any type of Palace to do "finalisation" isnt it? I dont know as I have never visited DRC etc.

Yes, it is a "Fair Summary" of general process that is commonly known to anyone that has had any experience of such matters. I gave NO interpretation but merely provided what everyone knows about "processing". The interviewer at the Tues, 13.8.24 interview asked Chairman Bell, RRR and he said himself: Yes, It is a process kind of thing.

Question put to me: Do I hope the money is coming? In legal matters, there is NO such thing as hope. Why? At the "finalisation" meeting per RRR RNS of 16.8.24, Chairman Bell must bring Legal Counsel but since chairman Bell qualified in Law, I am not sure. This is normal procedure. The agenda will also be known as no meeting can be conducted without "Points of Agenda" and hopefully, there will also be verbatim note taking of the meeting. Why? So, that later there is no legal dispute of I said this, you said that [Chairman Bell and DRC Govt].

After the "Finalisation" meeting in the DRC "Palace" , it is normal procedure for Chairman Bell to follow it up with a letter to the DRC govt detailing what was Agreed or Not Agreed to. Ideally, it would also be copied to the Ambassador as with the Chief of Staff letter.

With legal matters, hope is not something that is of any legal value. It is always on the strength of one's legal status and this is normal for anything to do with legals isnt it?

Process in the DRC may differ somewhat but the general principle of processing is well known isnt it?

So, clear isnt it? Reminder is commonly understood to be a legal letter of reminder and NO longer a Court DRC Arbitration filing etc. Joe Public can understand isnt it? Yes, Mawson of Canada will become known as Southern Cross Gold of ASX. As far as I understand, they are going to be subsumed into their own IPO spin out. Why? Helpful said it was good they didnt sell down their Southern Cross Gold, ASX stake. Why? Without knowing the status of all the Mawson projects, one assumes from general logic that Southern Cross Gold of ASX, one of the most successful co's on the Australian ASX is the clear winner? So, Mawson is now reversing back into Southern Cross Gold of ASX , which they own some 49% from recall.

I dont know what Mawson with do with their projects. I had no time to check but I am not very itnerested.

That is why I stressed to Helpful that IF, it turns out for Kilmore RRR 100%, then it will be nice just like Mawson who spun it out to the ASX.

In my experience [dont know about DRC though], it is =not= common practice to be called to the "Palace" for any "Finalisation" of the "Release" of the DRC matter as per the RRR interview of 12.8.24 or RRR RNS of 16.8.24.

Such "finalisation" meetings are usually in Govt Offices during office hours and there both sides Legal Counsel will be present inc the DRC Top Official dealing with these types of matters.

So, going to the Palace is rather intriguing as to what further is going to be discussed in conjunction with "Finalisation" per RRR RNS.

Theeeeduke-I maintain no mistake on my part as I quoted all the background much earlier but you dont tend to follow or listen to interviews of RRR. Helpful told you on this forum to listen to the Chairman Bell interview of 16.8.24 etc.

The post 17:33 is correct as I said below. However, the ==Context= must also be read with the Chairman Bell, RRR Interview of Tues, 13 Aug 2024 : "..DRC Ticks in the box. We are there. We are getting a good result - A slightly better result than before. " [Please check - I gave the link earlier or go to RRR on Twitter.] In the same said interview, Chairman Bell mentioned "returning to the DRC ie Palace."

Now my view of process and not a definitive:

Chairman Bell , will go to the "DRC Palace" [interview 13.8.24] & "Finalisation" [RRR RNS 16.8.24]. YES, it is =NOT=stated a cheque will be waiting. No RNS has ever been issued yet on payment so lets be clear and every Joe Public knows that as no one will have mis-understood ie no payment yet.

So, Chairman Bell also mentioned something akin to "Yes, it is a matter of Process" when asked by the interviewer in the said interview, 13.8.24. So, what happens is this: Chairman Bell, RRR said in the interview that RRR's Legal Counsel has sent the papers and "Rappel" [French for Reminder] to Chief of Staff and Bell has copied this to the Ambassador [presume British Ambassador to DRC]. Helpful also said that the Chief of Staff DRC Govt would have to call up for the papers. What papers? Arbitration papers one could assume to=check= and re-check with Counsel's paper. A/c to normal process, the Chief of Staff will prepare the file for the meeting ie "finalisation".

If the DRC Govt agrees to "Release" [per Rappel] of the monies that Gecamines holds [DRC State Miner owned by the DRC Govt], then Chief of Staff will prepare a "Notice to Pay" with a DRC Govt Seal and signatures required by Prime Minister etc to Gecamines [Head]. Gecamines will then issue instruction to the Chief Accountant of Gecamines to pay and sent the file and DRC Govt sealed and signed notice to pay as well. Then, only the payment will be made.

Caveat: Like all matter of monies, that is now awaited as to what is going to happen at the "finalisation" meeting when Chairman Bell returns isnt it? This is not advice of any sort but just normal process commonly known. However, the DRC may be different as they run on French lines and speak French.

Gecamines is the state miner and from what I read, the DRC govt owns Gecamines. Gecamines CANNOT PAY OUT ie "release" the DRC Arbitration award if the Court had not received the AGREEMENT from both RRR @50.1%& their 49.9% JV partner finally. I cannot tell as I am NOT in the DRC where I can do a ==legal search==for the legal agreement.

Suffice to say, there can be ======NO RELEASE OF DRC ARBITRATION AWARD=========per interview from Chairman Bell on 13.8.24 or RRR RNS of 16.8.24 @12:17 noon, if the MATTER of the agreement had not "been settled."

Why? If Gecamines paid out without a LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN RRR & THEIR JV PARTNER @DRC MUSONI, there could be later implications legally. So, the AGREEMENT [legal] must be submitted to the DRC Arbitration Court and only then, Gecamines can -RELEASE THE AWARD OR MONIES per the agreement [legal] and stamped by the DRC Arb Court.

Clear isnt it? Hence, why involve the Chief of Staff to the DRC govt to serve the papers and "RAPPEL" per Chairman Bell, in his Tues, 13.8.24 interview and RRR RNS, Fri, 16.8.24

If you have been following the DRC you would have know also about the legal counsel for RRR's DRC JV partner, wanting to be paid [not sure what the term was used as it is not common in UK law or practice?] as their legal counsel had concerns. So, there was also a hold up to the agreement of which both RRR & RRR's JV partner agreed to. If you had followed also the preceedings, it is easier if both parties ie RRR 50.1% & JV Partner 49.9% @DRC Musoni ===agreed==via a legal agreement signed for the sum to be settled and paid. Payment was to be from the DRC state miner ie Gecamines who was holding the monies of some US$15m from recall and accordingly to Chairman Bell, RRR, he said that Gecamines legal counsel told the DRC Arbitration Court that once the award was made , then they [GECAMINES,DRC STATE MINER] would pay and RELEASE the said award monies. So, fast forward , my post below states that it is now awaiting "RELEASE" -see Chairman Bell's interview of 13.8.24 & 16 .8.24 RRR RNS @12:17 noon.

Right, it also happened yesterday over at the other RRR forum and 2 times is rather more than a co-incidence. So, message is being given to me without being subtle.

Right, many folks on this forum do not get any help by way of researching and much comes from Helpful eg Kobo and what is happening and the big funding they got. Kobo is appearing in drilling results ranking on Miners Deck and so is Sunday Creek, SXG. When co's appear on this ranking list, it will come under the industry attention, so no surprise Kobo got a big funding done by a big German entity. So, RRR Cote d'Ivoire is close by to Kobo and RRR has done some work on it to give an idea that it is pretty good 1st pass at least.

No one else is doing any work for others. So, do I just take from Helpful and not give something back? I want Sunday Creek Gold to become reality by way of taking 100% to the ASX via IPO or vending to a shell on ASX - this way, is the best way of retaining the stake just like PJ and GMET [PJ dare not sell the stake and retains all of the 49%].

There is no overthinking. The RNS of Fri, 16 Aug 2024 and interview of Tues, 13 Aug 2024 is what people wanted ie where is Chairman Bell, what is happening in RRR Faso and what is happening for RRR DRC award? All answered now. So, to be clear, there is ==no overthinking=== or ==underthinking. Why? The RNS and interview is objective and factual. Also, the RNS said there will be an update. So, that is awaited and nothing to do with me. Everyone has read it and decide accordingly.

What Banburyboy is stating is his unhappiness [obvious from para 3] of his 19:39 post directly referring to me by name with a censored word!!?
