I will run through a few points with you if I may. 1st of all, the REM'ers are NOT here except you & a few others. The rest are either at Reddit Wall St Bets or elsewhere @Club REM. Given you spoke to OBSERVER842 last wk, I will summarise what I know and found out TODAY. So bear with me given there are 3 CLUBS @REM. ==Reddit was aware that the MEXICAN Govt was holding talks with TESLA 1 yr ago. WHETHER REM CLUBS know that there is an OFFICIAL AGREEMENT as per the title above I dont know. Because there is an LEGAL AGREEMENT, the gov is chasing TESLA to START CONSTRUCTION ON TIME IN MEXICO @GIGAFACTORY. Reddit REM Club also knows that the MEXICAN GOVT have conducted TALKS WITH CAR GROUPS TO BE PARTNERS @SONORA LITHIUM but REM Club cannot confirm if it is TESLA that will be helping with Sonora. But the above title states SO.

SONORA LITHIUM: So if TESLA STARTS CONSTRUCTION etc in Mexico, they will be getting LITHIUM FROM SONORA. BCN /GAn said Sonora lithium in production WILL BE THE LARGEST IN THE WORLD. SONORA LICENCES NATIONALISED AND TAKEN BACK FROM GANFENG/BCN & REM MEXICO. Not up to me to postulate who will get the licences - up to each one to keep their hopes it may be Gan/BCN but from the link I gave, the gov will NOT COMMENT so doesnt look too positive.

Not surprised as the govt have already held talks re: EV vehicle partners and Club REM thinks it is TESLA. The title as above suggest it could be.

REM MEXICO : The KCNC RNS was 16 Nov 2023 saying they have appointed Clifford Chance to speak to the Mex gov re: discussions and negotiations but todate, KIRAN HAS NOT UPDATE whether they got a welcome or cold reception, the latter of which Gan appears to have got. WHY SO LONG OF NO SOUND --OVER 5 MONTHS NOW. EVEN IF GOVT SAID NO, THAT IS ALSO POSITIVE AS FILING FOR INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION CAN TAKE PLACE. Clifford Chance would NOT have taken REM MEXIC'S CASE ON IF THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE so one assumes there is enough legal material.
