Must be one 'ell of an order/s being worked in the 230p range. One would expect after such a significant and rapid fall from >290p in a matter of days, normal market conditions you would expect a bounce by now, so far diddly squat !

For me this is a hold and buy, most certainly NOT a sell.

With the proposed meeting deadline fast approaching I feel many small traders are getting cold feet and exiting, rightly or wrongly only the next few days will tell, in the meantime I suggest thermal socks for those in need of comfort.

Yes, we really haven’t seen demand for years now, which is why I’m not worried as when the volume does arrive we all know the supply is finite.

You mean not since 4 weeks ago, plenty of headroom for the SP to rise, I'm calling circa 18.4p mid next week. From there, who knows, but circa 43p looks feasible in the short term.

Agree, nice easy bolt-on for any top tier energy company, if not there are plenty of PE outfits that could easily see the opportunity here, great RNS with long awaited 'potential' looking to be released and realised.

"Distressed assets in Uk for me...", so long as we don't 'upset the apple cart' by drawing too much attention to our tax avoidance scheme, otherwise our 'loophole' may get highlighted by the JSO gang turning in to public / media pressure for RR to act once again, real possibility I feel !

As for overseas, Asia will be the route given the experience currently sat on our BoD.

In the meantime, holding our class-leading dividend level (currently ~17%) is important and I see no reason why SQZ shouldn't, RR and M&A aside that is.

Not sure about that. I would welcome a 'Tailwind' deal so long as we are the prey and the suitor pays over the odds for us.
