Putting aside the extremely poor negotiated contract details, I guess RAM pay nothing because they haven't got a pot to p i s s in, hence the delay as they are finding the markets more difficult to raise cash given the recent exploits of the Orange Man !

If they really wanted / needed cash from retail, then allowing 24hours to apply would not have been a massive ask, clearly they DO NOT value pesky PI's or us voting NO in numbers. Makes zero sense to have such a short and totally unworkable window for vast majority of retail, they now have those that wanted to take part buying on open market (ask 3.94p/s atm) without the benefit of their cash going to the company either.

Nothing but an a r s e covering exercise by the company, no way will retail take up the full allocation given little over 4 hours notice until window closed imo. Note, it’s not underwritten either.

There is no point in merging with a like for like mirror business, esp for RR, expansion into different markets is key for both, sustainable aviation to name but one.

Talk of a takeover is (one would hope ) a little premature atm, although a merger with RR and for example a coupling of their SMR to our stacks is not too far fetched imo and one that could easily gain traction in time, it would also for sure get HMG blessing, would it not !

Now, remind me, what do ITM and RR have in common ?

ITM will be a target if it's not protected, for me that's a given.

As I mentioned this morning, shorts will want to exit asap, they will also want to do it in a controlled manner. Once they are gone and probably gone long themselves we should move up to at least circa 300p/s.
