Funny you should say that, last week I posted how I thought RR with their SMR would be an ideal fit for ITM, and I would happily accept 1 RR share for 2 ITM.

It’s only recently accelerated over last 4 sessions rise… up to then its been acceptable. You also need to put it in context of last 3 months or more of trading esp when it comes to volume too, I’ve seen plenty of speeding tickets released for a lot less.

We have to have an RNS to quantify the past 4 sessions rise… either :

We have noted the rise in SP and understand the market is reflecting the positive news regarding recently released RNS’s

Or

We can confirm that an approach has been made and negotiations are in the early stages and a formal offer may or may not be announced

Or

We are pleased to announce FiD blah blah blah…

Or

We note recent rise and the company have no knowledge…. Blah blah blah….

The last one I believe should have been released yesterday/today at latest otherwise could be considered market abuse, our advisers / nomad would have insisted. No ticket so far is by far the best option as we stand.

No ticket means ITM & their advisors are OK will the rise… for me, has to be red dot news this week.

I’m truly finding it hard to square this rise without news. Shorters would normally ‘control’ their exit, there appears zero control of this rise atm… has to be serious news about to be released

Clear as day that BP are being targeted by the yanks for a T/O, as soon as they open we drop 3pt in a few seconds, that 3p took us most of the day to gain. The likes of GS et al are working with whoever want to put a bid in that's for sure imo. They see easy money here to be made as even if no offer ever arrives BP will continue to pay dividends and probably climb a little too.

So for me, I will just slowly keep adding to my position as and when I can and await that almost guaranteed T/O RNS.

Helikon Investments Limited last increased their short Feb 24 in the 63-68p range so no surprise we have hit a wall atm !

Rolls-Royce SMR's alongside ITM electrolyser's would be the end of windfarms and solar energy rapid expansion.

Merger make so much commercial sense, just wonder why it's not happened yet !

Two great British companies leading the world once more, UK Labour Gov would love to have this happen under their stewardship.
