After all UKPL via GB Energy have already expressed interest in investing in renewable company Green Volt. Investing in ITM would be an easy win, win with capital growth and future dividends covering its initial investment and for us, will also allow ITM to be the preferred frontrunner of UK's Hydrogen projects now and in the future.

It would make sense for UKPL to invest in ITM via GB Energy, say a minority ~3% holding, announced via todays RR Spending Review, that for sure would be headline news and could easily push our SP well north from where we are now.

Six months notice period, few weeks off and will hit the ground running…. 2026 is really shaping up to be a truly transformational year for ITM, with no doubt SP to match. Part of his brief will be to protect shareholders interests… that may include getting the best deal in order to move the company to the next level on the world stage.

The CO2 of imported hydro’s is irrelevant as it could be 0 or 1000kg / boe as it would never count towards our net zero target… all they are interested in is fudging the figures by ditching UK fossil fuels to net to net zero by whatever means possible

Centrica taps Norway in £20bn deal

Centrica has struck a £20 billion deal with Norway’s Equinor to bring natural gas to the UK. The owner of British Gas will take delivery of five billion cubic metres of gas per year up to 2035.

Chris O’Shea, Centrica’s chief executive, said the deal will improve Britain’s energy security as about half of all UK gas was imported from Norway last year, after an increase in demand following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The contract will also call for natural gas sales to be replaced with hydrogen in coming years.

O’Shea said: “This landmark agreement underscores the vital role that natural gas plays as a transition fuel as we navigate towards a low carbon energy future. Today’s deal not only ensures the UK’s energy security has improved but also paves the way for a burgeoning hydrogen market.”

Just doesn’t make economic sense why we run our own economy and industries down then have to source overseas….
