That statement could also easily transpose into Serica's past 16 months too as both ACW and Mitch made reference to this point in their recent AGM video. With the offer being a 42% premium on its share price making virtually all investors since late 2013 a profit. Same premium on our SP would be 202p.

Unfortunately we will not see who now owns the +10m shares until the offer appears... no one takes ~£12m in shares over 48 hours in little AIM company at virtually an all time high without a very, very good reason. GRG have now transferred ~12% holding (~30,000,000 shares) in SQZ since beginning of year when GRG sat at 17.2%.

Roll on Monday, when we may KIST goodbye to our friend.

If, and it's a massive IF, "The Iranian government no longer has an interest in Rhum...." proves to be true, then our SP would go absolutely ballistic, poor old Mr Harris .... lol

The article did also say, which Mitch has mentioned before, “For us that would be something upwards of 50 per cent of the size of the company,” said Mr Flegg. “We’re not looking at things that are going to add 10% or 20%, we’re looking for 50%.”.... what would be better than adding 50% to our Rhum interest making 100% total ownership. Now that would be something, although without an RNS today guess it's just bad reporting.

Good to hear from you again .... enthusiasm is my middle name when it comes to SQZ I'm afraid. Like you and others I see much greater value in coming years with SQZ, but so will 'others' too. I have posted many times on numerous ducks lining up that would make a takeout of SQZ no surprise to me and imo we are in the sweet-spot right now. Either way, it appears as if our trading in that awful range for almost the last 3 years could finally be over. Fingers crossed x

RNS "R3 is already connected to the subsea production infrastructure and it is expected that operations to commence production from R3 will take place in July.."

So my thinking is should we have an offer, then that would need to be before R3 is up and running (July as per RNS above ) but well within the 30 day window of an offer, .... Early bird gets the worm. 'They' need to ensure no issues with R3 as this well will be a massive earner.

Clearly an RNS on R3 connected and flowing at >10kboepd would give added impetus to our SP, something that can be avoided in terms of an offer should one come in and can make a lot of difference to the apparent value of said offer when you frame it in terms of percentage gain .... 220p from here is +57% to closing ... wait until R3 RNS adds to our SP .... Then you could be looking at maybe +38% from 160p. Our low VWMA(100) currently 121p will also help frame an offer too. All helps in getting the vote !

I say Monday, but knowing how SQZ likes Fridays ......!!! however it could be at any moment, but my money is on this month for sure. If not, then I will have to keep the old banger a little while longer yet.

Just got back from sorting er indoors car with MOT .... passed thank god.

However, come Monday, or some point next week, could well be trading her in for a new model, an all singing, all dancing, sporty little number, you know the type ... the foreign ones that can give you a massage too ..... might even get a new car too.

Close above 140p would be great, an all time high, all the better, if so, all bets are off.

Once again volume between the dates on which the threshold was crossed or reached of the change from 9.64% down to 8.94%, or ~1.86m shares far exceeds the daily accumulative for that period. So more off-book transfers are happening imo.
