If I worked for the company I would not be selling come end of lockup, quite the opposite, I would take up the offer of more shares, esp at these prices.

Only if the employees need the cash or don't believe in the company would they sell imo ....

Lot of panic selling today on uncertainty of exactly how many share will want to be sold-off ... my guess is vast majority will hold and significant proportion will take up the offer of adding more.

Appears as if Polar Capital have been selling down, hence slight drag on SP.

On 7/3/22 Polar Capital held 8,511,452 3.15% .... now 8,116,338 2.99%

Question is, will they continue to sell down, probably! On plus-side, appears they want a decent price.

PS Naughty of them not to show their "Position of previous notification.." status within TR-1.

PPS Even more naughty is the week delay on informing SQZ.

Once all their clients have loaded up .... watch the SP rise, followed by a much higher target price ....

Agree with you, however there are holders of ~5.98% of shares that, appears don't agree !

For me, ~600p/s tomorrow is worth the trade-off of potentially having 'difficulties / failures' with Eigg, that's the point I making .... SQZ have very much the 'potential' to far exceed 600p ... but will they ?

SQZ as a gift-horse afaic has won every race since BKR, other than a stumble at Rowallen fence .... and may even go on to be cast in bronze.

A lot will rest on how SQZ deploy their cash hoard and how the market reacts to it.

Don't forget what happened last time when Jefferies issued their revised ratings :

"Jefferies raises Serica Energy price target to 360 (290) pence - 'buy'", was on 1st March when only a week earlier our SP was a lowly 244p .... by 9th March we hit 361p... :-)

Are they anticipating significant news within our imminent YE Results ?

JPM has the firepower to force this down as shown today using their recent "underweight" with a price
target of 400p as a means to an end .... DARK now just outside the top 10 faller's of whole exchange today ..... JPM clients will be very happy thought imo.

Really unbelievable how easily this stock can be manipulated imo.
