That's if the critical infrastructure, pipelines (FPS etc) and refineries still exist in 2029, Ineos already have major concerns !
If production continues to fall due to lack of investment caused by EPL then that would make infrastructure loss making and be closed down much much earlier than ever envisaged, resulting in stranded assets.
What HMG fails to see is the cause and effect happening due to EPL, it's not just oil Co getting hit, as we all know it has a much wider impact.
I suggest that we will see EPL pulled at some point next year or 2027 at latest, replaced with the 'packaged and ready to go' OGPM if the ESIM doesn't get hit first !
