"Labour has previously announced plans to for GB Energy, a publicly owned clean energy company through which the party plans to invest an initial £8.3bn in floating offshore wind...."
LOL, we are yet to see any large scale, commercial floating windfarm anywhere in Europe. As for costing £8.3bn, think you can easily double that given how every large scale project ran in the UK has always gone significantly over budget & over schedule, with Labour running the show, I would be surprised if it was ever completed , if so, what would the annual subsides needed to keep it running. For me there is not a cat in 'ell chance of such a project being commercially viable run by any government, let alone Labour controlled, plus god knows what MWh costs will be thrust upon us, the consumers. Added to which, with a half finished floating windfarm our NS O&G industry would have already gone the way of the mining industry .... dodo style !

BB, Hope you are keeping well ....
"How they convinced the big PIs like the Hardys this was worthwhile is beyond me..." You are not alone !
Only for our ex-CEO Mitch to now have a cushty number as our advisor, 'ADVISOR' FFS. Probably paid a retainer fee thereafter too, god knows how much but hush money is all the rage now you know (LOL) !!!
As we all know Shell have announced their intention to exit NS ASAP, be surprised if BP keep plodding on as is. Maybe BP could do another BKR with their remaining NS Assets, I'm sure there is a deal to be made give 'connections' our board have with BP. The BKR style deal (taking NS fiscal uncertainty into consideration) worked well for us before and would set SQZ for the next 5 years and beyond if not with BP, then how about Shell.... You never know, just hope SH's are taken on the journey too and not sold down the river in a Mercuria PE deal.

More so, handed voting control over to Mercuria when we had sufficient cash to avoid dilution. SQZ was handed on a plate to Mercuria and founders of TW, SQZ is but a puppet now to the puppet master.

Are Jefferies expecting dilution on next deal, as that's quite a drop, circa ~15% given nothing has changed. For me any dilution, if at all, will be minimal given Mercuria will want to retain their blocking vote holding percentage. What was Jefferies rationale ?

Hi TheBold,
Interested why you think SQZ offers better home right now for your £145k than CHAR. I'm in both atm and although CHAR duster was a real surprise ( to say the least), given known knowns I would find it hard to drop that much into SQZ right now. Yes, SQZ are almost certain to announce an acquisition soon, but at what cost, if our SP goes the way post TW many holders will not be happy bunnies.

Abysmal result from what was supposed to be as close to a 'slam-dunk' as you can get, 80-85% drill success rate in this basin. Our geo team and mgt have some real questions to answer, even SDX outfit can hit pay !!
Our board will HAVE to announce any material approach/offer this time around should it come even if they reject it as it will bound to be >100% of current SP, that type of premium should not and can not be brushed under the carpet.
Askar will be loading up for sure on this result.....
T/O to come to an AIM company near you shortly !!
PS, I don't expect the SP to bounce as whoever has been 'managing' our SP will be more than happy to manage it at current SP or worst still, even lower.
PPS Question, do our our board have a vested interest in a supressed SP, I sincerely hope not ?
Absolutely AIMO & DYOR
The basin containing our acreage has a "high historic success rate of 80-85%.." of drill results, think CHAR have done their bit to lower that.
Next drill results in a month will allow the t/o to complete with minimal of resistance, 15-18p and to finalise transaction well before offshore gets underway. This is AIM !!!
