RE: Is BP Badly painted....5 Apr 2021 11:47
So for me it’s all ducks lined up and BP going in the right direction....
Anyone not looking into green/renewables is a fool. It’s what the world is guiding towards and many big finance houses will reduce their loans to fossil fuel only companies.
BP have already said they expect oil and gas production to increase in the near term before falling away.
They are investing in some green projects but this is presently a small part of their investments...
Do you remember Betamax verses VHS....Well that’s the same with the energy transition....Lots of horses in the race and no one certain which will make the most money....carbon credits, wind, wave, solar, hydrogen, pick your colour, nuclear...
.Don’t forget it will be 20 years before we ween some countries off coal...And parts of other countries which only now have rising incomes and can afford cars.....India and China....so many large countries are at different places in the journey.
So there is one hell of a lot of runners and riders.....Should be an interesting race....
Go on BP my beauty....You pays your money and makes your choice.....l
