So we will have Mad Dog 2 producing some time this quarter.

There are some very very big gross numbers here and great revenue for BP.

140,000 BOPD X 365 days x 65$ x 60% = A decent return I would hope....

I know these are nowhere near actual profit but thats where it all starts....

At the moment unless you are a tiddler and get a strike no one is actually moving very far up or down. Infact most are moving down slightly ala...BP.

Covid will be beaten but in many countries they just havent dished out enough vaccines yet.

Im pretty sure we are going to get a great bounce once we have jabbed everyone but that isnt going to be a quick process.

Very very confident we will be well over £3 after the update but dont expect explosive moves for a while yet.....

So why should oil do well.....

Sleepy Joes stimulus.
Lack of exploration (the biggest of all long term)
Covid put to be
Opecs master plan
Shales paying debt instead of increasing production to a madness level.
Worldwide uptick in holidays, planes, cruises driving.

Very true,

But shell assets are top tier and some of the most profitable in the world.

My view is that oil will be close if not exceed the previous useage for a few years so plenty of reasons to hold Shell.

A foot in many camps sort of....Oil, gas, Hydrogen, Retail, power, chemicals, renewables, engineering, transport, trading and on and on....

Be good now to see BP just slowly move up for few days...We shall see.

2 Things that are still causing problems.....

1 Covid seems beaten one minutes but then you hear countries like Chile where half the hospital cases are under 40 in a country heavily vaccinated...Can we beat these bloody mutations.

2 There are stories that the Saudis are artificially holding up oil prices....Who knows....

One thing will pay off here............Patience.....
