Most of us think its a great share hence why we bought it.

Why did you buy it and has anything changed for you ?

They buy them from the stock market and they either hold them in treasury or cancel them is my understanding.....

Great share to be in at a great time....

Its like going for a nice meal and currently you have just sat at the table.....

Looks like 2 billion $ spent in 2020

Oil looking decent so if it stays there could be a hat trick tomorrow.....

Notice the last buy back was on 29th January 2020.

3,712,000 shares at £4.82.

They did about 14 transaction that month from 3 million to 8 million shares a time......

The last one was for 2 billion shares.....

Question is how big will the buy back be this time....

There are lots of 0000000000s but I am reading it right and we paid more to the Nigeria government than any other ??

Good point Smithy I missed that and assumed they just got them to the target....

I would imagine the buy backs would be in the billions....

Not as good a finish as early promise but slow and steady is great ....

Trying to understand why we have sold billions of dollars of assets, trading described as excellent and oil above 60$ a barrel and we only pay off a few billion debt.

Is this due to one offs such as redundancies, GOM payment and lagging prices...

Dangerous but sometimes fortune favours the brave. What rate did you get as obviously that will need covering and the stamp duty before you make any money.

BP could however unlikely go tits up and then you have a whole world of poo......

The market may not be excited by the update but dont seem upset either.

Shares up 1.2% currently so perhaps the devil is in the detail.

Such a massive company with so many fingers in so many pies the future is surely looking good when the fabled Super Cycle starts....

This time in bed with VW and the aim is to have 70,000 charging points in europe by 2030. Personally I expect them to have way more than that...

So we are moving forward at speed with our Green investments.

One of them is our partnership with Equinor......Its a 2$ Billion partnership 50% each.....Thats a lot of wind......
