It’s very much in their interest to keep oil where it is for now, with Shale in its rear view mirror...

Then I think a few months from now they will be pumping like hell....

Looks more stable this morning and whilst I expect the day to be red at current prices I expect it to only be 1 to 2%.

With the madness of the world, if the USA is happy today we could even end up finishing blue.

Either way it’s just another day of BP making more money than they expected, driving forward with reducing debt and our future strategy.....

Where we are now doesnt matter to anyone unless you need the money right now...In which case get a rolling pin out and give yourself a smack on the head......

BP could go up tomorrow or much more likely it will go down.....As will every other oiler....

Does the world need our gas and oil...Yes.

Your view on Shell depends on when you bought I suppose.

Long term holders will be massively under water from the £20 plus days.

I was doing OK but bought some at recently and am now down a few %.

I cannot for the life of me see anything else other than a higher SP over the short, mid and long term.

Covid destroyed Shell and when its gone it will be business as usual with a small green sprinkling to boot.

The world is a changing place and with financial fire power and visionary leadership companies like Shell will be great in my opinion....

Today.....Well its just another day.....

I can’t see it going any other way then up....

Capex is miles away from where it needs to be and unlike a tap to turn on oil takes a long while....

Then you could chose one of many other reasons for up.....Covid ending, Biden stimulus...etc etc..

If the wise ones are to be believed we then sometime late this year or early next year we will be in the middle of a Super Cycle......

What this means for BP who knows..... How quickly can we turn the taps, are they ready to go big if needed.....Who knows....

Before this short term we could falter a bit as some countries have lock downs and this slows normality.....

If and it’s still possible Corona virus darkens our door we could have another rough year....

However if as I expect to happen we crack COVID by Sept or Oct (as a world not Uk) we are job done and I see £5 next year.....

I depends on when you bought and how quick you expected a return.

You rarely get 100% increases unless you are very lucky.

Oil is trailing the rest of the markets as we arent back driving properly, flying or on cruises.

This time next year I expect our SP to be much much different and we are up from less than £9.

The yanks are a strange breed and some of their decision defy logic.

The ridiculous valuation of Telsa which is worth more than the next 10 global brands combined says it all.

For us oilers, with a lack of investment and massively increased useage we should hopefully be in for a good couple of year.....

Results should be posative and very very interesting where we are focusing our fire power. Prelude should be doing some good stuff also. Its amazing the size and cost of those mega projects.

Its bizarre but every time I look at oil its in the red but actually its still over 67$ so in a pretty good place...

I expect the European and WHO will give our virus the green card later so they can crack on with their vaccines.

Its interesting that Chia, Indian and USA and ofcourse UK have smashed the vaccines out of the park except the money in europe....

Onwards and upwards and with the EU Vaccine almost ready the future is looking good....
