Worth remembering that BP have 14 major projects coming online in the next 2 and a half years....

This includes Mad Dog 2 and Raven which are apparently 35% higher margin projects.....

Even if the next quarter is cash flow neutral then we still have the 1.2$ Billion from this quarter for Buy Backs....

BP and their partner Reliance are going from 1400 to 5500 sites in India in the next 5 years....

Thats serious groweth......

So there was 1.7 Billion Dollars of Excess cash flow this quarter.

Of this 500 million dollars are being used for Buy Backs.

The others 1.2$ billion dollars will not be used at this time.

The reason being quarter is expected to be much less profitable with GOM payments, redundancies and major project cost.

At the quarter 2 presentation they will announce how much excess cash flow there is for the 2 quarters and then at least 60% of this will be used for Buy backs...........

Which company would you consider buying to get your hands on cheap assets producing assets?

Think I might try Harbour Energy...Decent production of 200k per day and pretty cheap ?

If BP are successful in providing power to 5 states in the USA......These could become big big business....They are pretty big states....
