Balance sheet chaps - easy to get carried away with SMR (never going to hit RR PLC balance sheet for many years). Talk of narrow body is awesome, but again no balance sheet to suggest a financial increase.

We've had a year realising where we always wanted to be; SMR contract, Narrow body re-entry, AUKUS, core product enhancements/orders... but and it's a very regrettable but, we've only just got to hedge and pension investment status and how these fools work is to balance their books based on investors so they have to be insurance friendly and they will no doubt diverse once the balance sheet shows no increase from the two I've mentioned (SMR and Narrow body).

Hell, I'm the biggest ramper here, but a realisation of current balance sheet is important to support the current MCap.

Once £12 is hit in December, the decrease to £10 (in my humble opinion) is due come Feb results. But it will always gain from there of course.

Sounds good to me Svend - I have a little capital left from the SIPP after being rather frivolous in the last two weeks once my SIPP gained it's funds - not clever to say, but being up nicely since then hopefully bodes well for the 5/7 year goal so I take take the 25% tax free and drawn down at leisure to the end.

Very difficult not to get carried away with recent increases - I have to remind myself that it may all go and the flare goes up from the dingy for immediate rescue from the RR main ship!

I've read all of "persimmon"s posts and they come across as a very well educated chap/chapess in terms of the current situation.

I'm surprised RBD held the rise today - usually we see a fall or rise then resort to zero change.

My humble opinion is still that it's worth a hold in the current climate. Since "winning" a few quid on RR over the last 5 years, I'm putting all my excess into mining and exploration so I'm happy to hold RBD for now, even if if a fund raise is due. I still hold RR as my back stop, but mining (current/potential or exploration) for me is the next post covid entity to be involved in - only for 5 years mind. 👍

...and I say 5 years, but I'm one of the unfortunate ones who won;t be able to take a bean until the age of 57 (currently, could even rise further).

So 7 years for me.... I'll be loving off shrimps and crab claws whilst the bounty in the SIPP grows.

...and I might ask for another dingy to be sent out from the main RR ship if that's OK? I think there will be too many minerals to bring back in one go! 😂

Ahoy Captain! Great shout on ATYM, and I see they were a good buy at 302 in April this year (I hate to but at the current max - high of 860 in 2008 though shows some progress to be made.

I'll have a good look at the fundamentals as they look good. What's your thoughts on a decent raise bing a 724m MCap at the moment?

Good ‘tip’ on MET1. I managed to buy last week prior to hike, which although is nice, it’s only part of the long term holding (5years) in as many mining stocks I can get my hands on - with due diligence of course.

My thoughts have been mining since start of the year. Most are on AIM so some will fail, but there are some nuggets there on my humble opinion.

What was a 13 stock pawtfolio (yes, I’m a cat) now has a spread between 25-30 and a few more to add.

Always keeping hold of RR of course. 👍

I totally agree, but we're living in a very strange world where non comital coins are traded in the same way cash is - maybe one day I'll ask for 100m shares in a particular company for a tenth on my daughters future earrings once she becomes president of the moon?

I've been looking at this for a while but the SP seems to be quite boring (apologies in advance). Essentially the same as Feb 2025.

These entities boards are a mine field Chef.

Take RR for instance. I invested low (below £1 in October 2020) and said they'd be £7 come Feb 2025 (currently £11 ish). I was right (more luck that being a genius to be honest) but all the way through, David Perry of JP Morgan was slating the stock; "It's finished".... "Never going above £1".... even his credit ratings were far below what I and others had suggested. Embarrassing.

What do the board of RR do at their CMD and various other public meetings? They give the first question to this joker - every time!

Boards do strange things (including not turning up to what we consider essential events) but it comes good in the end.

I guess that's my point - sometimes best to ignore the fodder and go with the gut. Certainly served me well in my 5 years of serious investing 👍

Baffled the hell out of me, but

...lower spod price isn't important to me.

As you may have read in my various ramblings, we have 5 years to mine. That's not just Lithium, that's all mining entities - Gold, Silver, copper, Helium etc.

My forecast, as you may know I correctly called RR being £7 come Feb 2025 when I said it at 33p in October 2020, is that the Spod price will increase over time to a silly amount, and that when decent shareholders cash in. Not now, not tomorrow, but in 5 years time.
