Fair point Badomen, and I guess that wasn't really my point - I was just trying to show that retailers have an almost zero input to SP change here.

My point was the breakdown of current investors, retailers having very few shares percentage wise, so the non increase can only come from matters out of our control.

Quick example, and I hate to state this again, but RR is a prime example. Pensions/hedges (anyone insuring holdings) cannot buy in until credit ratings are at a certain point BB+ at minimum). RR was destined to be at the £10 mark from the 33p RI but credit rating was junk stock all the way to £5.

It was held back until the institutional investors back it to suggest they are comfortable with insurance to their investors.

The idea that any retailer shareholding can influence SP is incorrect, and the sooner people understand that, the better.

I don't agree. You're talking about retail share holders, that with most stocks, is very small (I'll dig out the exact amount of retail percentage vs institutional [hedges and pensions].

This whole idea that the retailer has effect on SP is totally wrong.

I guess like all of us here, we're wondering why the SP didn't explode today on the news we have been waiting for.

I'm not one to agree that sell-offs equate to holding it back (retail is small holding), and I'm also not on board with the idea of MM's adjusting the value to allow buy in (I've never seen evidence of that in my whole investment career).

So we're left with one (maybe more if you can suggest them) reasons this is being held back. Do we think Hainan are getting ready for a full takeover? 14% of KOD and 51% of KMUK, all set up for a nice takeover from Hainan or more importantly Xinmao Investment Co.

Thoughts appreciated.

No way this can hold back on the news, but purchases are 1/4 of what I expected so maybe this one will take time to get into the fuller market?

Acores, if you invest correctly brother, you to will see the £3k rise on a day whilst doing whatever you want to do for the day.

I've had £8k rises in a day in the last few weeks, coupled with a few losses to lesser extent (I'll grant you that! 😂) but one mans bread doesn't mean you need to chew the ends to make you feel better if that makes sense. My Pawtfolio (and yes, I'm a cat, so it is a PAWtfolio) is a rollercoaster ride at the moment.

I'd suggest you worry less about others and concentrate on your holdings mate. Make you the better man in the end 👍

May I ask what your investment is? I'll be clear mine is 0.09p, 0.29p and 0.35p (all in all about 5m shares).

Not huge (compared to others on here) , but when you consider what the future holds, it could be significant.

I fully understand your worries Acores, but facts are facts. Mali's own mining code of the Bougouni Project means Mali has a 35% stake. That's not what KMUK or KOD suggested, it's what KOD, KMUK and HAINAN adhered to.

Nothing can be changed unless your underhanded techniques of business transpire.

If it put's your mind at rest a little, I did the same thing with RR and their SMR situation. An obvious conclusion for RR to have the SMR contract went through various silly hurdles to get the full contract.

KMUK/KOD/HAINAN will certainly get the export license in the next month or so, and those not investing at this MCap will be very sorry.

Mali have 44k of Spod they can't access (as it's under KMUK control) so do they go with the guaranteed off-take (Hainan), or do they, and it's hard to say this but what you are suggesting, leave it to rot to annoy western enterprise?

It's the one chance Mali have to get a deal for the 3 (it's always going to be to 5) years, so they're playing hard ball. I would if I was in their shoes.

It's times like this we have to be logical.

1) Do the board deserve their take? My opinion YES

2) Do we see 44k of Spod going to waste with a confirmed off-take to Hainan for 3/5 years? My opinion NO

3) Do we understand that Mali want as much as they can gain from this transition? My opinion YES

Totally agree, but as we sit here watching the SP, serious negotiations are happening to benefit Mali and KMUK.

We know KOD (Bernard) are doing all they can to expedite the process, and we've heard from Bernard that the coming months will show that extended negotiation to then benefit the shareholders. He can take all the money he see's fit in my humble opinion. I invested at 0.09p when it wasn't even a drill and I'll stick with him all the way through.

How is that different from every other AIM (or FTSE) PLC maximising internal wages prior to shareholder output?

I have no problem in boards earning huge amounts, as long as shareholders are paid their share - and in this case (KOD) it's clear we need to wait for the export license to get the 3/5 year off take already agreed with Hainan.

There really isn't any hidden agenda here, as far as I can see.
