I have 15% of my pension pot here, currently 0.05p down in SIPP but massively up in ISA (bought at 0.09p).

And no, I will no be at the AGM. I've never been at any AGM for the 27 stocks I currently hold - no need my me to attend.

Can't disagree with that Wigwammer - my dad almost had (another) heart attack when I told him I only had sub £60k left on the mortgage. He thought that was dire and that I was likely to go bankrupt the way he responded. Didn't have the heart to tell him the average for my age is about £160k. 😂

Only joking Wigwammer - I do agree with your synopsis of the current economical situation we are in, but I will say that building up the cash in ISAs and SIPPS are certainly the target for young and old alike. The old will likely pass on the majority to the kinds, and the kids will hopefully build up the same for their offspring.

We don't always have to go along with ill managed economies and ISAs and SIPPs are certainly there for us to maximise and go against the grain.

This is solely in my SIPP (about 1.5m shares) so I have no reason to sell until I'm ready to take my SIPP (in about 6 years).

I consider that a good thing considering my awesome (not) timing of selling in the past! 😂

Great start - managed to get in at 2.27 on the 18th of last month so I'm extremely happy with the progress so far 👍

I acknowledge that, thank you. I was all about RR from RI 34p to current £11.50 but my feeling (no advice) is mining of any kind with a decent pedigree will sore for the next 5 years. Hence putting everything I have into it. Currently 27 stocks (I think), but the upturn already has been much more than one could expect from a managed fund.

I guess balance is everything, and I won't be able to tale it until I'm 57 (currently 50) so let's see how far we can get eh? Trying to maximise that 25% drawn down! 🤣

Not that it matters, but I recently transposed my SJP pension to a SIPP and KEFI my purchases (due diligence and all that) when I put all funds into mining (and a few into pharmaceutical such as IMM). Managed to get 0.76 which I know is a lot more than LTH holders on here, but a good start for me.

The natural increase is something I am very happy with, rather that than the 30%+ a day in some shares I have that will only fall back.

The building blocks of a truly decent LTH is KEFI in my humble opinion.
