... that time again when 147p sp isn't good enough?
What a board this has become, and I was just three seconds ago licking my balls thinking "I'm sure there's more to life than this!" ... I might go back to it, and do it thrice over.
ONE point you doubters may have forgotten:
SP in December (16th to be precise, a nice little Xmas pre-present) was 87p.
- It's now 147p
- That's an increase of around 59%
- FTSE increase is around 2% in the same time
"When the FTSE falls 2%, RR falls 4%"..... oh please grow up.
It's very basic economics, but I guess those looking at RRx3 will never get it as their desire to make a quick buck involves gambling equations that means "the house always wins".
In life, there is something called a 'compound' interest increase/decrease.
And in the most disgracefully arrogant way, being a cat and all, I will explain this to you - it's something LTH (Long Term Holders) acknowledge form day one:
I buy a share for SP 100p (£1). I spend £100 doing so I get 100 shares (I'm foregoing all the commission to make this an easy equation)
That SP then rises 10% in one day. I now have 100 shares valued at 110p. I've made 10% on my original purchase.
Next day, that share goes up 20% from the day before. That's 110p x 20% = 132p. Not my original 100p purchase + percentage increase, but the opening daily figure + percentage increase.
Next day, that share goes up 20% from the day before. That's 132p x 20% = 158.4p. Not my original 100p purchase + percentage increase, but the opening daily figure + percentage increase.
That's what I call a compound interest when investing as a LTH.
So when I hear, "I'm selling everything as it's gone down from 4%" without any context of what the purchase price was, I can't help but have a little cat giggle to myself.
Guys, and you know who I'm talking to, get real! When this hits the 185p bottom and goes to the 220p in the short term (that's a 67% single increase on current SP but not compounded daily) you'll all regret bailing too early.
That's my absolutely disgraceful condescending lesson of the day.
I won't even tell you what happens when this gets to £7 in Feb 2025. Let's just say judging my the intelligence shown here recently, AI isn't the problem - us cats will be in control.
Paw pawformance chaps, very paw.
