I dont think (as yet) we can read across any specific cosmetic that is doing well - but it is possible that market insiders see the Cosmetic market picking up a bit for CRODA..... If "a rising tide raises all boats" holds true then its possible Zenakine is at least doing OK as Croda are plugging it quite strongly one way or another.

But I'm relatively chuffed as its making me a bit of money .... I would not have bought it had it not been for SBTX ... So that is something positive TOUCHWOOD.

Madaboutmedtech: You have misdiagnosed the problem. Had he NOT said there will probably be news at the end of MAY or beginning of JUNE that would not be a problem. He should not of mentioned a date if he was not going to keep it. It is not a good look. Having said that we have to suck it up if we think results will be OK.. But it means what he nexts says about the future - do we believe it or do we ignore it? How reliable is his word?

OK chaps I've read all your posts on this NEWS thread...... I notice one of you mentioned ITM power. You will note I bought at the bottom (see ITM thread on ADVFN) but was talked out of it after a few weeks by a mixture of people like yourselves and other knowledgeable people on ADVFNs VALUE thread (ITM was a value investment - cash at the time bigger than its market cap). Thus this proves listening to negative voices is not a good idea. Stick to your own beliefs. However I do now have a mixed bag of AIM-ish shares to cover me in case SBTX does not blow: TRD, RUA and ZIG ( all with results this month or next). I also bought CRODA on the assumption it was at or near the bottom..... So I covered those angles a long time back (you lot seem to only now be thinking of it which is a little bit like closing the door after the horse has bolted).

I asked chatGpt that question a a while ago. Basically October we might see it on the shelves.

This is how I envisage Zenakine's growth...

A few people will try it.

It will work. They will tell their friends. It will gradually get bigger. I'm hoping for £10M sales by Croda (this year) and £1.2M for us (this is very opptimistic). Next year £2M for us and 2027, £4M for us. Meanwhile the other business ventures of SBTX will also generate profits.... So GROWTH prospects for SBTX are great.... but the starting point is relatively small (I guess).

Phew, thanks Toyin for clarifying.... So you're guessing by using the gambling odds set by the market (which is sensible I agree) thus you think its a flop...... That is definitely quite possible. And probably quite sound in some ways.

Thanks Toyin for putting me straight. When you say the launch has gone badly "fart in space suit".... Can you tell me where you got this info from? Is it reliable? You have somewhat confused me? Obviously I will sell all my SBTX shares if Zenakine is not selling... Can you clarify how you know this? Thanks.. I appreciate the info - but I need to know if it is from a reliable source or are you just guessing by the fall in share price?

Bazza, this is what we know for certain:

(1) Croda have launched Zenakine (Zenakine on their website - you can buy it and order samples).

(2) Zenakine has been mentioned in all the trade cosmetic ingredient magazines by name.

(3) In the public cosmetic magazines such as Harpers Bazaar , Vogue and Sunday Times Style the "Skin Brain" link is being mentioned a lot.

(4) Retinol is being slowly phased out of the EU.

(5) CRODA only yesterday said that this year is the first year that the chemical ingredient market is going back to the good times before covid.

(6) Both CRODA and SBTX have results in JULY.

(7) CRODAs share price is currently off its bottom and heading upwards (possibly a trend all the way to July).

AI (and dusbin) both suggest use 10% as baseline and higher percents for bigger sales and good ingredients (AI gave examples).... So 12% is shorthand but could be as low as 10% - but either way its loads and loads of CASH ....... SBTX will end up cash rich...

Bazza: Only a fool (in my view) would think we would get 12% of other ingredients... We get 12% of Zenakine - end of, period... Its not rocket science. No one in their right mind is going to think we get 12% of other ingredients in a formulation.... 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀 Then when it comes to the RNS what was our CEO going to say anyway apart from " our cash inflows are better than expected" - We know they are (provided Croda are paying) as Zenakine was not mentioned in the previous broker update. 😀😀😀😀😀😀💰💰💰💰💰💰

Bazza: If Croda dont issue an RNS this week we will know that things are not BETTER or WORSE than expected - but as expected. A lack of an RNS from Croda would be news of sort - namely "Croda cosmetic ingredient sales are doing OK" (eg as expected) ... If Zenakine did "only OK" that would actually be brilliant for SBTX - 12% of OK is probably in the millions.

Bazza, That all sounds 100% logical But then we are left with the CEO saying "hopefully/would/should: news end of May or early June". He had ZERO REASON for saying that as global Zenakine promotions are happening around the world (eg UK, Holland, Germany, USA, Indonesia, Korea) and none of us cared two hoots - as long as whatever he says is truthful and honest. No one wants a lot of flannel. But having said that the NDA is a bummer...... And possibly CRODA also are really confused as to what can be said nor not said..... And possibly our CEO gets a different story from CRODA almost daily depending who picks up the phone to speak to him.... Then also news from other "pillars" - why not just say something about one of those to fill in the gap? Surely one of the pillars have a story of some sort?

I was going to post something similar than I decided to give the CEO a chance and wait until we got past the single digits (eg 10th June). He did say (correct me if I'm wrong) "end of May or early June" - One assumes "early june" ends tomorrow...

Having said that I'm not 100% sure he said there WOULD be news or SHOULD be news.... But either way it is a bit bad form if we dont get something by tomorrow... Eg if split month into three EARLY, MID and LATE - then early June ends on the 10th. If split into two EARLY and LATE then early ends 15th June.. So I guess I could be wrong and he still has to the 15th.... Its all a bit vague and rambling isn't it. Its a shame....the NDA is a real downer.

But having said that now we have got this far, July is not long to wait. But it is bad form.

The insideMedia article (already posted) hints at a possible reason why Croda took ages to launch Zenakine and why cosmetic companies are taking a long time to launch their new cosmetics using Zenakine. It goes back to Covid-19:

If you look at the recent Harpers Bazaar they say RETINOL is currently used for acne and wrinkles... So its possible, if Retinol is to be phased slowly out that Zenakine (etc) will be slowly introduced to replace Retinol.... Even for acne.
