Does that top investor team (husband and wife) now have nearly 10% of SBTX?

Everyone is giving their pet theory why the float has happened and why now...

My theory is they could not get the Superdrug deal across the line without the American certificate of approval AND the cash to build a new logistics and manufacturing capability. SBTX have taken the decision to the raise the cash for the new factory BEFORE any Zenakine news breaks to sort of underline that is is not related to Zenakine, this is all part of the old business and has no baring on how good or not Zenakine is doing. In fact Zenakine is probably doing way better than expected and when that news breaks we dont want the SP to be damaged by a SHARE OFFER ... This clears all the decks for LIFTOFF - Provided Zenakine is a red hop success.

Bazzaman: Its not only your average price that counts, its also the quantity of shares you hold 😀.... You obviously can cancel at any time before the offer date but it keeps your position in the queue if its first come first served (just in case it goes above 17p to buy before the closing date)

I bought a few on the offer - help the company out. There was no "dealing charge" so that is a bit of saving... No stamp duty (if not on ISA) ...... Worth bearing in mind when the price is close..

Toyin, its 10% dilution for roughly a cash amount that equates to 10% of the market cap.... So on balance its zero change (more or less) but the company is in a significantly stronger position provided they dont "splash the cash" too much. Having good cash balances from investors, generally speaking, is the AIM of AIM. If a company does not need the cash to much but wants to share price to "rocket" it probably needs to move to NASDAQ or even FTSE Smallcap.

Bazzaman - the advanatge of buying them at 17p on the offer rather than the open market at 16.75p is the that the money goes to SBTX so you still own it and the share price is more likely to rise higher as a result. Cash balances are linked to share price valuations.

DireCons: Good tip with share trading and message boards. Dont filter anyone , you never know what you might miss. And learn to skim read to get the gist without wasting much time. You'll only waste more time turning filter button off and on and getting really confused by half missing message threads.

PS second CRODA should read SBTX (I know that obvious but just in case - annoying there is no edit button)

Would there be anything legally stopping CRODA buying 2.9% of the new issue of CRODA ? Eg its a FIXED PRICE for everyone so its not insider trading (I guess as there is no price to manipulate)

It only takes one microcap to blow big and this could possibly (touchwood) be the one....... Cash piles are in vogue (eg ITM Power)...
