I just wish they hurry up and conclude the deal. Its really stuffing my old plan to top up in sres. The bod are being most in considerate! Lol

I brought in at 13p! I knew it was a risk, but was looking for the short term kill. The more I think of anything Bulgarian I think the writing was on the wall with that one. It has made me weary now of TO. I am wondering if the same to happen here. Though if no deal here it would signal (or I hope) that the directors feel ATD is certain to turn it all around.

It's the lack of any update which is a bit frustrating at the moment. However we are not out of Feb yet, so ATD are not really behind on the tender process. I think there will be some update in March and by the end of March there be total closure to this. Either we have a bid accepted or rejected. If ATD don't accept a bid. I hope they will produce some evidence to support the SP. Ie a trading statement etc. At worst case long term it got 20p going for it, though it won't be until 2013 at the soonest.

I think in March I think either be a update or a bid offer stated in a RNS. Mid feb end of feb, it's all the same. However march kicks in and then they are behind schedule. One interesting thing which I picked up on when speaking to someone yesterday. When I asked about the bids/takeover situation. There was a long pause before she knew what I was on about. Like she had to recall what it was! Now if I was an employee and the T/O quite big which could affect my job I would really be aware of it. However the impression I got it wasn't a big thing? Make of that which you will?

A good point I was re-reading the RNS as well & wondering was that about the 28 days? I spoke to someone at ATD yesterday. She seemed upbeat & said that they were working to the timescales. I am reading it offer concluded mid feb, but tell the market in March. The way I am reading it.

Last year ATD was trading at 20p. Things were worse then then now. If ATD can prove they can turn it around and reduce any debt and make a plan with creditors then this will rise in time. I don't think your money is lost here type thing. It's not like PPA pan pacific. It's going to boil down to 2 things I say. We get an offer I doubt anything less then 11-12p be accepted. If the offers rejected & ATD run on their own then I say ATD will turn it around in 2012 & you have to wait for your rise over a longer term. .

The 12-24 is what blowster reckoned it could be worth of an offer. It was IMHO! What baffles me who brought £37 of shares this morning? Surely, with admin costs it would cost them more money. Is that a signal?

I am in a simlair position I done lot of buying around the 6p mark. Looking back in hindsight i should of sold at 9p and seen how the thing played out. Always a saying leave some points for the next man, (ie selling before the tip ain't bad)! I just done a dunny sell and I was getting 5.83 for £2k worth to sell. The MM seem to be willing to take these off your hands ok. It's starting to boil down to decisons. Perhaps it just me bit I have a feling the offer of 12-25p region maybe hard pushed. At the time of the period ending the SP around 3-4p mark. However the directors are at a right T juncition. They either accept a offer or have to be very confident that ATD can turn around within a year.

A 100,000 sell gone through. Could be a pi that fed up of waiting. We know this can go up & down on any sells buys.

They lowered the bid by more. They could be trying to get sellers to panic sell to pick up extra shares.

I agree. Either be a bid or not. Though I am wondering if ATD gonna try & make it alone turning bio seek around. Though I'm going to be doing more research in to company accounts. Otherwise gonna be a long term thing to get sp back to what is was in early 2011. If that going to be case.

I have spoken to Asterand. I got the word 'ongoing' and the process is taking place and so far they are trying to keep to the orginal timescales and shareholders will be informed when the process has finshed. Sounds like to me there could be a few offers to wade through?

Agreed. I would like closure now of this. A bid anything above 12p would do me fine. Personally I don't want to be stuck as a long term invester with ATD. For them to get back to 12p on their own you looking at least till 2013 for bo-seek to turn things around. It spin the wheel take your chance with this now.

This could mean anything? I am starting to get an uneasy feeling about the lack of feedback from ATD here. No RNS to say talks are ongoing. I am reading this that the offers haven't been to ATD liking and deciding to go alone. However what really concerns me with that route, without the accounts (trading statement) to back up their judgement. I can see this going down to 4p until the accounts re-rate ATD. I could be wrong here and getting a bit parainoid about the whole thing as what happened to me on OCH! Or there could be a number of bids and they are delayed working through them?
