It has been a frustrating year, especially the last 6 months on the RNS front. I did think that by now I would not be under my average, interest starts dwaining on the wider scope to get more investors and things then become stagnated.
I do feel that with each month, AV has to produce more of something to turn this around, though he shouldn't have too, had the communication avenue been open and effective, the make or break expectation of the partner news wouldn't be so vital.
The next bit of communication, if it's like talks or a deal haven't materialised, I wonder where the SP goes despite having all the other good pieces of news to come, especially with Tin prices, as they are.
A part of me feels many pi's are holding purely for the partner news, than the actual long term story.
All IMHO.
I have to say the communication has dropped off somewhat since last year, I just hope ATM, not gonna turn into the default AIM company on the communication blackout.
I do still believe in ATM, should be plenty of positive news flow, but AV has to deliver this year IMHO.
I thought today was a decent update, I think a lot of the sellers today are the ones just in for the big news (probably strategic partner), then when it doesn’t emerge they are off.
Personally, I like how the company is building towards something good, some decent information points in the RNS, I do wish though, they get it correct first time, it’s so unprofessional when they have to re-release.
All in all happy with that and try to add when I can.
What I am saying 2024 has to be ATM year, make or break, as AV has had enough time to get something on the road.
When you compare to say KOD, as posters mention they just get on with it, I do think AV is too PR with the comment, though I have no issues with that style, as long as you deliver.
The eye watering amount offer comment, I would like to have a vote on that, as I bet some maybe like to take a mouth watering offer fairly soon!
I am really hoping that in 2024, we can see decent SP rises, actually retaining them and setting new Bollinger band levels.
One of the things I do get is blue envy of other shares on my watchlist, I must admit in 2022 when entered here, I thought by now, we'd be further down the road SP wise and I could of started top slicing into other targets I have addressed.
Though, I can patiently wait for things that are good, I feel this is the year it must all happen for ATM. I am expecting a SP at year end to be vastly multiplies of my average.
I hope the wait is worth it!
I think this behaviour goes with AIM shares, some pi's see the drop, then realise they could of sold at say 4.90 in this case, but they feel it could drop further and panic selling now, their method is thinking they keeping the powder dry, though it could well not drop anymore and rise up, so you selling for a loss due to the transaction fees and a spread.
All IMHO
I didn’t think it was a bad RNS, though the jam tomorrow brigade were probably hoping for news to sell on a rise, but now they not hanging around and departing for the now.
In the scheme of things, just a bit more patience required, though in time still looking good.
All IMHO
The art of holding. TBH, most of my failings in the AIM Market were not holding and jumping from one share to another, in fear of missing a rise. Once I learnt some patience, learning to let some rises go, I then was able to develop a better strategy of finding something I believed in and seeing it through.
I have (probably like many here) with averages around 5/6P, been holding over the months at a loss, but it has not concerned me, what has worried me is can I reach desired amount of shares before lift off!
I believe in ATM, the signs and the vibes coming out indicates that news may not be far away now?
Good luck all.
Good find that!
Great to see some vibrant positive posts over the last week, it has the smacks of an update on it's way.
If we see 20p in 2024, that would be extremely pleasing. I am trying to get some top up's in before things hotten up!
The company is certainly moving in the correct direction, ok this is the longest blackout of news flow we have had, but I don’t necessary see this, as bad considering on what we could witness to come in 2024.
I first got on board in Jan 2022, with the intention of a 5 year plan, I like the fact that AV is against dilution, (so many AIM companies go that way), though as AV has vast skin in the game it’s also in his interests. Phase 2 will be one of the hurdles, but that will put ATM firmly on the map and talk of this billion market cap company, which AV wants, what region SP would that put ATM 40-50P, if no dilution, I suppose also depends upon Tin and Lithium values etc.
I for one excited for 2024/5, hopefully we shall hear some news about the strategic partnership soon, I am convinced it’s EU related, as everything takes forever with them.
Observer 101, first of all welcome to the BB, a real refreshing read. ATM is IMHO severely undervalued. The figures are hard to put a price on, but I don't disagree with your findings.
Phase 2 will require some funding, I think Peking Duck on here was saying the same, but most pi's posting, I would suspect have an average here of around 5-6p (I stand corrected), hopefully by the time new funding is actually required, many will be well in credit here!
Please feel free to post again!
This is the bizarre thing of AIM market, there seems to be rarely any standardization in valuations, PREM have diluted themselves to death (I used to be a holder), have a CEO who just appears to be out of touch, it makes a complete mockery of the market, that it's valued way more than ATM.
