Strongly agree with you in regards to the plight of Kabwe, JLP’s inherited obligation and the massive positive momentum that could be achieved on the resultant Green credentials. Typically being the green miner is akin to being the vegetarian at a steak restaurant when all you did was eat some of the garnish.

I hope you are correct and we 100 bag from here - that would be a £39bn company - wow.
If like the early birds on here you bought for say 3p - then you are already on over 5x and as such "only" need to do another 20 from here - £8bn company - definitely doable!
Still I hope you are right - we can count those bags together for the next few years

In regard to the results and their “lateness”. First, I don’t think they are late - we are less than a week later than the date last year. Second, we have a lot more plates spinning and as such more to collate in less time. Third, it’s an operational update - my own personal theory is that the delay is to capture a post period event as part of the update - could be any of many on that front.
The key excitement level for me is are we going to capture the attention of the market - I feel we have a long way to go on that. My October forecast was to finish 2021 over 50p and these results and how they are received is key to making that happen imho.
From the amount of char on this topic I think we are all keen for the update from this fabulous company.

Late to this - i think we will break 2p on Wednesday on basis that new operating profile is strong leading to strong cash inflows to reduce the remaining debt.

Each to their own on investing timeframes - takes all sorts. I personally am currently in both camps - LTH who has put more in recently as the price dropped and in expectation of rise on results. Cant speak for others motives on wanting the operational update but for me, its excitement to see that the progress is as LTH expect - of course I can wait but its more fun to be a little impatient and look forward to the news - no harm in that.

means good news due here according to those doing it. Hoefully operational update will land here this week - current price imho is an absolute bargain - but i would say that having previously bought more in the 17's. This share has popped its head over 20p 3 or 4 times and the ath is only around 21.6 - this current price represents a real opportunity regardless of your investing timeframe.

How about a new rumour where Musk and Saylor have a bidding war for control of Argo - i think i heard someone in my study say this earlier......someone pop this on twitter and then our Proactive shareholder will do the honours!

IF MS want Argo imho they will "merge" - softer message - get BTC at cost forever + Saylor gets an apprentice mouth piece in his new MS VEEP Peter - both would I think be attractive. Easy sell to holders of both in principle (we all like BTC and both to some degree hodl) - its as ever the equivalent valuations that are key - hence why a merger works better (even if MS obvs takes the controlling role)

Argo has in the last hour banged on the door of 106.5 about 6 times before now having a breather - with a fair wind at 2.30 from our transatlantic cousins hopefully we can stretch back to 110p and close out a frankly awful week with no evidence of its occurrance other than our 1000 yard stares!

I tend to agree that Microstrategy t/o more sense than Musk in some form (but then Elon loves a contrary play it would seem). If you want to accumulate BTC forever as per MS - then having a mining company makes 100% sense. Would also give Saylor, the wearied promoter a new talk track - he looks exhausted!!

Also, as mentioned on here already, there is the chance we will purchase some chinese devices in the short term thereby taking advantage further of the disruption caused by the China crackdown.

And to emphasize that point - that is at $30k BTC. IMHO with increased II adoption BTC is not going to disappear and as such yes it may fall a little more but so far we have held in this range for some time. If we get to say double the BTC then all the additional revenue is profit and p/e falls to 3x - 3x ffs!
Easy hold/add for me and wait to see.

So $40m sale plus the $9.5m sale referred to in the q3 update. If we assume the reduction of debt and the increased sale prices mean we are circa $80m cash up pa (I think it may be even more) - then the £290m debt may be down £60-70m by the results.
If true then should re rate as the market can see viability in operations. So key is the uptick in underlying profitability and we will know in less than 10 days time. Happy days

Thanks for explaining the warrant timings Phenom - as I said, I have no experience of warrants.
For the record I am in vela for medium to long term - I do however like to explore reasons for actions and explore with a negative hypothesis (to counter my own optimism’s).
So likely warrants being called in order to have shares and the option to be agile and take profits at later date without delays..
