If 36 is 2000 boepd equiv then at $70 a barrel that’s $140,000 per day - 7 days a week is just shy a million a week. Even at 50% gross margin that means the well can payback the $10m in under 6 months.

Capital costs aren’t the issue, time to production is.

As a LTH I welcome all contributors new or old. I have to say that in the past the board was a void of hope with such a cloying negativity. Yes the company was bad but there was a lot of wallowing in the doom - I’ll take enthusiasm and keenness any day over that - nevies can learn about the history on the clock if too green.

When I was a turnaround person I used to use daily targeted output and its revenue / estimated GP to keep everyone aware of the progress and not just focussed on the new stuff to come.

Leon could issue a snapshot daily target output estimation to reinforce the scale of earnings currently in place - its sizeable and would begin to focus holders and potential holders as to what we have now and not just what is to come.

Comms on this basis can be useful here I think. I get a warm glow knowing each morning how much this company is making for me in its current operations.

Share price is reluctant to price in anticipation of the end point and why should it given our trials and tribulations to date. Its going to take a revised resource, confirmation of a strong producing 36 and the addition of details of how we get this to production and market before there is too much movement i think.

Looking forward, I am happy to wait, I like CH and his strategic and operating approach, but I am nervous on the lateral - it needs to work and flow well (I am not an oil expert so dont fully understand the probabilities of success / risks of failure. I will bear that nervousness for the next 6 weeks or so as if it works we will see SP rewards I think.

We have Nicholas Slater investing in BLU mkII since the recapitalisation and stock issued consolidation - for that I am interested. In regards to Derek Lew and Meinhard - they may have money and be putting it in here, but it would be a very generous investor who would classify them as "Smart Money". Both of them have a proud tradition of not only backing the wrong horse, but also shooting them whilst they are holding the reins.

I am hopeful there may be an impact via Vortex but come on, Derek buying is irrelevant and adding to that his complete lack of decency in how he conducted himself here last time I would rather he wasnt.

Hopefully a formal launch of Vortex is to follow swiftly and we can enjoy some basis for the excitement to date.

I have been a LTH here for a long time. Today we have been invaded by what seems to be a hard working group aiming a classic P&D on first look, but

1. Even at this price, BLU mcap is £2.1m. That is a price that assumes it will fail - despite the recent injection of cash on the raise.

2. Why would existing invesors Nicholas Slater and Meinhard buy in if there was a strong whiff of failure - there must be a plan to continue and reach Vortex revenues / PEN adoption.

3. So if we arent failing and 2.1m is the failure is imminent price, what is the more suitable market cap and SP value for this project if it transpires it has the legs to go a way into the future with Vortex launching? Remember Vortex is an improved version of the already once popular DTransfer protocol that was earning for SatoshiPay.

So ignore the excitable newbies - there may be a kernel of value left here even for us recently stripped and humiliated LTH's.

And that forecast should still stand a very good stead of being overachieved.

Current copper Forecast for Year - just over 5,500 T

6 month Copper produced - 1,454 T

LC stated Sable current annual output 6,500 to 7,000 T per annum "Roan is extra on top"

FY Forecast 5,500T, H1 production 1,454 T = H2 Required copper of 3,046 T for achievement.

In H2 Sable alone will drive 3250 tonnes if uninterrupted leaving a Roan as extra. Therefore I expect in the fullness of time to see a revised conservative Copper forecast of at least 6,500 being given to accommodate Roan production- maybe more

100% agree with you GotReal on this. We are effectively in a second cold war but this time the West is funding the Baddies as well as itself.

I expect Trump to have the aim of breaking up the BRICS alliance to protect the US Dollar and bring this more to the fore. during his term.

The core factor here however we slice up the control is whether our carrier Champion Satoshipay can carry us all to the finish. To date they have a slipped disc, gammy hip, ruptured Knee, sprained ankle and an injured foot. Heres hoping they can shuffle on. I hope the brave investors have seen potential we are not being made aware of in regards to this.

Maybe instead of a crystal ball, Jubilee could invest in a risk and resilience manager / team who would be charged with reviewing operations and ensuring risks of interruption are understood and a resilient recoverable model is in place as far as is economically possible. Jubilee are a more than big enough entity to move this effort from after event recovery effort to pre-event planning. Its not a sexy part of bigger businesses but in my experience its vital to operations (and in the past personally my ability to remain in my role).

I assume this isnt a fully fledged activity yet as we have had incidents we have experienced - its telling that the power is about the same price - we didnt risk assess the fail risk as part of the procurement decision (you would think the new power supply would have a strong pitch on their improved resilience versus competitor).

Is JLP a learning organisation or will Leon and Co continue to charge on without learning from their own experience of how to deal with unknown pioneer risk? They should be developing a protocol that builds a first time more resilient model. As JLP get bigger and bigger this methodology becomes more and more vital - in any operating environment, let alone Zambia.

Positive update overall and actually informs us rather than confuses holders.

Positives:

Thutse 2x expansion now operating and a run rate of Chrome production in excess of 2m tonnes p.a. already achieved.

Monkoyu Leach trial results very positive and low cost expansion possible and will likely come in this half year.

Sable upgrade progressing.

Roan to be switched on again within 10 days and not only progress back to prior level, but also move to higher Copper % concentrate material which should improve yield.

Happy with the update here and wont dwell on the past - we are good to go and I look forward to a Munkoyu update in the near future as well as a revised copper forecast one Roan is re-established and also I suspect after they see recovery rates achieved from higher grade material - guessing mid Feb for that missive.

You are quite correct to call out my stating an RNS on resumption of power - my apologies. An RNS to state the risk of interruptions to Roan has decreased is I suppose the correct moniker.

Might look at IMM but I am nervous of pharma - not an area I have ever done well in - despite 2 or 3 forays. Good luck though and thank you for sharing.

Must be chuffed on that timing. I’ve tucked ONDO in my long term holds - could be very big and definitely not receiving interest it should.

Pxen is in my trade PF but I think I will likely move it to longer holds also - depends if it spikes or is bought.

Whilst hunting for new investments - PXEN - a European gas play and ONDO - an insurance tech with a great anti leak software being rolled out in states may be worth a quick review.

No control by us whatsoever but unlike a year ago I would take 15 p in the next 6 months. So many other cheap shares at present so 15p - 4x current would be very welcome.

My overall preference is still to see an independent JLP fly but my scar tissue is growing on this one to the point I just won’t get to enjoy the highs if they come.

Maybe some positives next week - RNS on resumption of power / Thitse 3 news / leaching / Saudi deal but I suspect it’s submarine management till interims arrive.
