Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
I personally think Nick will have most if not based covered. Given what has happened between wi and solg that there is no love lost. If the DFS was announced whey sooner than CGP think then solg would acquire the business and a load of cash. Nick has been bitten once before and as this is the it prize I would think he would not want to let this go easily.

Yes agree with twohits. Hopefully the PEA will be the trigger point though I suspect the big boys (in the case of solg 12 NDA,s signed) will know given the drill results plus 2 MRE,S know what is there. They also did an aerial survey which identified a further 11 odd targets. I will shut up now. The size of the targets here could be as good but I think the grades from memory are better. Cheers all Ned
Hi. Perhaps they are still there but it's not in the interest to declare this right now. I would rather keep proving up the asset and then see what deal is offered or perhaps come to some deal with a major. We shall see. Why not write to him for clarification. Ned
I do not make recommendations. However solg is in a really interesting place right now and worth a look before the PEA is announced for those that are interested or who may have some spare cash. Not only are the RNS worth a read but the share chat is worth a read too. As always do your own research. Don't take my word for it. Have a good weekend Ned
Hi. I do remember (now on the out fringes of middle age) that money was raised in numerous ways. It depended on where they were. The second drill was on the money, as was the 5th and 9th. in the history of holes drilled at the time they came in the top 15 or so. Lengths of hole sometimes were 800 mtrs. i think theres a chart on it somewhere. The reason the share price dropped was because the market did not believe SOLG was big enough to fund what they had found. There were a couple of placings slightly cheaper than the market price but they also collected cash from his own pocket and also from another company which he owned, also cash by warrents, (has that not happened here) with higher target prices than market. He then did a premium raise through Maxit capital and when Newcrest and BHP bought in it was at a premium price with a 2 year agreement in that they could not oppose the board in their decisions and also not take part in an aggressive take over unless one was triggered from some other company.
One of the reasons the price rose was because BHP made a ridiculous offer which was refused. this also caused the SP to raise. So.......
On the other hand another company sometimes mentioned here continually diluted, if the share price increased on a spike of good news it was immediately diluted so PIs were unable to make a profit other than trading, some terrible financing decisions and as a result the price has continued to drop. A poor MD can affect dramatically the SP and i believe its still happening.
Here the MD seems to be in control. Yes cash is raised but not by massive dilutions and i like the fact that a JV has been declined (possibly i could be wrong) because perhaps they wanted to much as in the case of SOLG. In a similar way he seems determined that share holders will get their rewards at some point so because of these kind of things i am prepared to continue to invest. I feel that at the correct time when Nick truely knows what we have a JV or buyin will take place at a much higher price. Until then its a matter of time and patience. At one point in time even after the second hole had found an amazing result NM (the MD) only had 1 drill being carried around the mountains on a donkey. Yes PIs were really frustrated as they (we ) wanted results much much quicker but the extra drill only came in in Feb 2016 AFTER the first placing at premium by Maxit. I first bought in in 2013.
Now the PEA is about to be produced sometime in March and like here with the plant coming on stream it bodes well for the future. HOWEVER from experience these things at this point of an explorers life take time. If you really want them to crack on then expect placings and do not complain as you cannot have it both ways.
Me, i personally like the road Nick is driving down and as a result will buy more as and when. I hope (apologies for the long winded reply) that you can see some comparisons here. Kind regards N
Hi Bloodshot. Depends on the share and the company. With solg the drill results got better and better plus as the MD kept putting in his own money then it gave everyone else confidence. PREM despite the asset was a completely different beast. I entered on 2bill shares and left on 5 bill. Lots of bad decisions and about face decisions after lots of good PR from the MD. There comes a point where you just loose confidence (For me anyway) and I got out having taken a hit. Profit on SOLG is 6 figures and not sold any because of what's to come (not ramping just saying). Here it's similar story though my get out price is much lower. Each to their own I guess. For me and the other long term holders SOLG will be life changing. All my own opinion of course. Ned
It did occur to me (right or wrong) that if NM held off the PEA and produced the DFS much earlier than planned ie well within the year it would REALLY stuff CGP and WI. We all know that games are being played and given the agreement A/ CGP have to have solg agreement if they have a buyer and B/ if the DFS is producedcmuch earlier it will cost CGP dearly. A simuksrthought to BBG.

Hi Bloodshot. Currently 37.6p and 8 brokers have it priced at 80 odd p to £1.20+ so the wait is worth it. If Nick is Dr lining of offers because he knows what he has is good and will get us a better price in the long run then I am all for that but it take time and patience. I guess no two shares are alike but in somewhere are similarities. It is not necessarily a good thing to have an amazing asset ie look at PREM. You also need a good bloke at the top that makes good fundamental decisions and at this stage in a companies life dilution is a fact. It seems to me that he is limiting the amount of dilution which again seems that there is more to this than he is currently letting on. The fact that people are buying in privately is a good sign to me and if the price drifts while all this is going on then so much the better. FWIW I will continue to buy as funds become available. Cheers Ned
For me I have seen this to an extent with solg. Got in at 14p with fantastic results to see it drop to 1p. I still believed in the company, the results of the drilling AND the MD. Here I regard it as very similar in that we have great potential, something that is going to produce an income Nd an MD that knows what he is doing (in my opinion). It has taken solg 5 to 6 years to come good as a result of some premium placing and investments by 2 big mining houses having had one previously been told to get lost. If the finds here are as good and Nick has told a couple to drop dead because they want a very high % of the find because they are being greedy then I am right behind him. It will happen but sometimes these things take time and patience but in the end will come good. A drop in the price will allow me to buy at a lesser price and increase my holding. Ned
I could not think of a suitable headings so thought I wouldrevert toEeic Morocombe.
Somewhat frustrated by the price movement.
I feel that if I could just prick it with a pin similar to a spot then we would get the surge we are all waiting for. The first part shows my age I guess.
Sitting at home having been diagnosed with shingles so writing this to take my mind away from th ings. Ned
Personally i still wonder if he will sell just Cascabel and rinse and repeat, i mean if we have 15 targets why sell the lot for 3.5 bill. The way metals are moving up then surely time is moving in our favour....here's hoping anyway. Ned
hi. thought this may be of interest and relevant to us.

An interesting read. Cheers Ned
I silly question but one that intrigues me as I do not know how to find the answer. Anyone k ow the amount of shares in free float. It seems strange you can be given a quote for a large sell but nothing for a small buy. If that's the case it seems to me that shares must be in short supply and therefore a rise is due. Any thoughts. Happy at present with my holding as a late comes but want to buy more at some point. Ned
With solg. Me personally if I tried to trade it I would miss out so I would rather be patient and wait and if I believed the potential is great which I do then add more below 4p which I am slowly doing as funds arrive. 5p..10p....20p ....£1..Wow. I agree it would be good to hear about the plant Has anyone written to nvs. Ned
