With the FT100 being such a dog, UK company’s being so bad, and you such a fantastic trader being able to predict so well what will happen in the UK market.
Why don’t you just trade on the Dow and leave the rest of us in peace.

Agree Fleccy but please don’t talk about transmission systems, it’s way way above its head. Please keep it simple, it may understand two bean cans and some string, may understand no guarantee.

Toff. I suggest you look back at my posts, you will then realise that I personally have lost NOTHING on BT, the vast majority of my holding is up over 100% the rest is still in profit.
If you are going to post on what a person’s financial situation is regarding BT shares they hold do your research first.
It’s nice to know how to get under your skin, a lesson for others should they wish, now why don’t you just jog on, try and find another board to try and intimidate people on or gloat on your perceived interpretation of there investments. I won’t filter you for the following reason.

Anything for attention it would seem many have now blocked it now, and I can understand why.
Hopefully it will run along soon.
Still BT has outperformed FT this week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday over 100% better than FT each day and matching it today percentage wise. But it even try’s to be negative about the share, even after a good week, an intelligent trader would see that as a good sign and perhaps reconsider there thinking, but that would require a balanced view an acceptance of positive performance.

Don’t you find your constant negativity in your postings gradually gets you down, here you say div shares are a waste of money, then on another board you complain about dividends being stoped, make your mind up which it is.

Unfortunately this muppet spends there time seeking attention all over LSE, same negative posting, insulting the view of others with a attitude of superiority, and the opinion changes depending on the company, no consistency at all.

Out performing FT again. No sign of a dividend cut or stop, at the moment, unlike other sectors who today announced a stop to there dividends. That appears to have upset some...
Very quiet today on LSE re BT, lets hope it remains that way tomorrow...

Toff. EE has around 550 stores in the UK that equates to around 11 per county so 1 in every large town plus several in places like London, hardly a massive foot print compared to say, WH Smith Greg’s, McDonelds, KFC, New Look, Starbucks etc.
You are missing the point, you can’t go to the above, they are unable to sell you Andy thing from there shops, some can sell things to you via the internet, just as you and I are using it to put comments on this board, we can message our friends, video call them, watch TV, listen to the Radio, download an Ebook to read, get information on what is happening around the world. Without BT you and I can do none of this, extra revenue is coming in through upgrades and new services, over and above what has been expected in Q4.

The problem is that the Chinese leaders are not interested in what we think, just as long as they can keep control of there country. They are not interested in the poor of there country, where this is alleged to have started, they are not interested in educating those people, because they may start wondering, “why”. They are land grabbing in the South China Sea, turning it into a military base. Perhaps the only way to initiate change is to try and help the poor of China to be enlightened. The problem is how to do it, we should not blame the people, but the leaders who do not want its people to have the opportunity to influence there future. Question, How ???

Trenners. So how many of those who left have gold plated pensions in place with crown backing ?
‘‘Tis not the fault of an employee if the employer offers a good pension package when they joined, no body forced BT to offer it did they. It is also not the pensioners or current employees fault there is a deficit, it’s BTs they are the ones who effectively took a payment holiday not the employee’s. At least BT are prepared to for fill there pension commitment unlike other companies who have totally shafted there pensioners and employee’s, casting them adrift while lining the pockets of the owners or directors.

The thing is the company’s you mention are having 80% of there-wage bill covered by HMG others who can still operate with only a relatively small number being supported, still have the staff running costs to cover. The thing is how many supported companies will still be around in say 6 months if this carries on as it is now.

Do you feel the need to seek attention from wherever you might get a response to the general negativity posted over many boards.
