In my heart I knew this would happen. What an accolade and MM must be bereft. LinkedIn and Instagram are silent and have been for a number of weeks now on anything THG related. I’ll fool myself into thinking this could be that they are keeping any positive news away in order to give the SP a rocket boost when the Q1 is announced… Gotta keep the faith…

Let’s hope today marks a significant step forward in the return to value… another piece in that complex puzzle…

@cityspie… I totally agree. This board has attracted some strange souls… they push their personal agendas and are deluded that others want to hear what they have to say…

What we need is for MA to request a formal seat around the table… I have every confidence he would shake THG up to its core! Sure he wouldn’t put up with a lot of the goings on at THG and focus on the business of making money as opposed creating and manufacturing weak stories for Instagram…

My deep concern is that the Shorters still think that there is money to be made even at these low levels… How much further are they expecting it to fall? Clearly a level of confidence that MM doesn’t have any rabbits in his hat… The radio silence from MM and the BoD is deafening. Maybe there is nothing left to turn this beast around…

If Lucy G is now CEO of Remainco…. along with Damian Sanders (CFO) Matt will only have two reports into him… Is the new CEO role a pre runner to Matt departing…? Or is Matt looking to shift the blame on Nutrition and in due course have an excuse to cull both…? Something more is afoot…

I see number 250 in the Ftse250 is Essentra Plc with a market cap of £341m… based on yesterdays market cap of THG (£518m) this would place them at number 227… So there is a reasonable margin of safety that they will be joining the FTSE 250… Phew!

Has anyone mentioned this yet? No idea whether buy or sells or when during the day it happened but…

A serious question and one I’d never thought I’d be asking but in all seriousness how low can this go? At what point does it represent a steal for the business… 25p? 15p?

My extremely tiny shred of hope is that they are not investing effort into updating the website as the whole of THG will be leaving the LSE some way or other… one but can dream…

I think the more important question is who will replace JG as COO of THG?

I understand how consuming it is to have picked a dog like THG. I’m down far more than I’d like to admit but if I thought this wasn’t the bottom I’d sell up. Like so many we are in knee deep but I remain positive that once the dust has settled in Q1 we will start to see an improvement. If MM can’t improve the P&L after the drastic removal of Ingenuity then I’m confident investors with bigger boots will help things change. So I wouldn’t be pressing the eject button just yet.

For those that don’t think there is money to be made here… why are you here? Surely as investors, short or long term, the whole point of investing is to get a return. No amount of going over the same old history will change things. If I didn’t think I’d get my money back eventually then I’d be cutting my losses and moving on. Maybe not bad advice for some as they make New Year’s resolutions…

Can I just be clear and say that the interim dividend was not reduced. It was adjusted following the Rights Issue so as a long term investor the interim dividend increased.

Glowaski… your comment suggests you’re not very close to THG and you should be wary of investing and certainly seeking to push your views. I’ve been tracking the shorts for three years and can tell you haven’t just appeared. If you select the historical graph it will help you understand the scale and scope of the shorts.
