I was part of the camp that wanted Ingenuity divested so that the wider THG P&L wasn’t dragged down. But you’re dammed if you do or dammed if you don’t. One thing I do believe in is that there are many THG LTH’s that change direction with the wind… they’ve hocked their nans jewellery and got themselves in a pickle and spend every day posting on here negative drivel to help them feel better about themselves. So glad Crafty is back providing insightful and encouraging posts.

Confusion with the Google news re Ingenuity thinking the investment/partnership was with THG. Short lived…

I’m thinking it’s not Mars. Rationale… they are already in partnership with Hotel Chocolat which is a brand owned by Mars. So yes they could expand that relationship but it’s not a completely new partnership is what I heard from MM. Time will tell.

Intrigued on the Investors Call to hear that TS uses THG haircare products… Christophe Robin… MM’s LinkedIn post suggests this has created a lot of demand… Anyway… for me it’s an easy choice for a Christmas gift for my wife… A hardened Swifty!

Love the talk about real profits and dividends but what do the Shorts know that don’t know (but we do really and in denial) because they haven’t shifted their positions in weeks…

Maybe if Lucy or her team are reading this can they relay to her that it’s quite disrespectful to be looking at her phone constantly and then only raising her head to answer a question. Should be a three line whip that all attendees are fully attentive and not flicking through Instagram…

Everyday I wait to see if the Shorts are closing… nothing… that’s the only signal I need and will start to prepare myself mentally for another let down at results day… One day… but not today… and not tomorrow… maybe next year… maybe not…

To H1 2025 results… Looking at past dates we should’ve had the results during this week… For once I am starting to believe I might one day recover past losses… A combination of strategic disposals and a reasonable trading update should keep the needle moving in the right direction… There is no other share in my portfolio where if I got out after four years with no profit that I would be dancing with such joy…

Trimming the business of any excess parts will produce a more simplified model which in itself will be more attractive to a buyer. We can but hope that this is part of a master plan…

And it will return to the Ftse250 and then fund managers might start to buy positions in the view it might actually become more permanent…

@stanleyB… You do like to bang that drum… every day… if not multiple times a day… Its starting to get a bit tiring…

…and let’s be honest… every time they buy the SP goes the opposite direction… Sadly I have that same Midas touch…

Old news…

I fear many are going to be disappointed as the AGM tends to be more a tick and turn type event. i.e. doing governance stuff like the acceptance of the annual report, voting etc… I hope I’m wrong but I’m not sure we will be getting much of a trading update. I hope I’m totally wrong and we get some titbits to help fuel the SP. That said LTH’s have been here many times before, full of hope and expectation… then cue the sucker punch to the stomach…
