With respect, I have concerns as to what numbers update LR or the board can actually provide at the agm Q&A without an accompanying RNS. As he has previously referred to a game-plan of quarterly Covid updates, the first would not be due until, by my reckoning, end October.
Whatever course of action ensues, we must all surely agree that a Covid-numbers update is long,long overdue.

Interesting feature just appeared on Radio4 pm news, indicating the complete farcical testing situation the government is currently overseeing.
One company was mentioned by name, Randox, which was awarded a staggering £133 million contract at the beginning of testing. It seems to be experiencing problems (surprise, surprise) in the number of kits submitted to it which it simply discards.
The lack of a proper tender process in awarding such gargantuan contracts makes this an opaque process, subject to potential dodgy-dealings, although I stress I am unaware of any such in this particular case.
However, it is more imperative than ever for LR and/or his team to clearly outline the testing arena for Ygen over the last six months. In particular, why are we not in the thick of this market (maybe we are but not been told yet?), what capacity are we at (past,present and future), and what is the future direction ( just private market, domestic or export, or is there still mileage in the government route?).
The single major problem mentioned was a shortage of technicians and scientists: as we seem to have plenty of both, why are we not at the head of the queue?

Steve67, not sure what kind of update we can expect at the AGM, especially if concerning numbers as assume price-sensitive stuff would have to be disclosed to the market as a whole.

So the government money available in the Covid testing field has sprouted to a fanciful 100 billion. As accuracy, reliability etc appear so far to be secondary considerations surely LR has by now taken up a strategic position to at least take a slice of this massive market?

Despite all the positives the Co. has thrown out over the previous months, this has the depressing feel of the pre-litigation days. Waiting for Godot.
Seems LR is carrying out the Co. strategy to the letter, that is delivering shareholder value in years three to five in the grand plan. More patience required it seems, the LTHs just got longer.

Well, maybe it is reasonable to expect by now a decent overview of where we stand on the Covid testing front, at least five months down the line...Like are we still in bed with NCYT, are we even on speaking terms with the NHS, and the small matter of testing capacity and outlook?
Unless LR or the Co. have the decency to provide a meaningful update sooner, seems we may well have to wait for the quarterly news, by my reckoning the first one being due towards end October.

Trouble is JAdam I suspect there are a fair number of stale LTHs who may well be seeking an early exit on any sustained rise. The longer this stagnation of SP price continues the harder it is to fathom the reason(s) for such non-performance.
Expect the only things that will get this shifted is a set of decent growth revenues, or a good old-fashioned T/O.

The longer this stagnation continues, the more one may be tempted by a trade sale exit strategy.
After all, a 500m mkt cap target could be meaningless if a corresponding dilution occurs each time there is a bolt-on acquisition.

As the SP (hopefully) wakes from its lengthy slumber, I began to look for possible explanations as to the SP's relative underperformance.
Whilst LR confidently expects "to see accelerated double digit growth in our NIPT business this Calender year" , in reality is that truly an indication of explosive growth which this Plc could and should be achieving? His statement, as I understand, is saying he expects to earn revenues/ sales in excess of 10% greater than last year. Is that guaranteed to set the market alight? Hardly, which may just explain why the SP stagnated.
I am a little dubious as to the Co's business model: the deployment of salespeople around the world with the objective of "securing new customers and new territories" is an expensive initial outlay. I realise you often have to speculate to accumulate but staff-related costs must surely be a significant inhibitor to providing the Co's first pure profit announcement. A top-heavy BOD doesn't help.
I remain excited by the diagnostic tool-kit of products this minnow has to offer, but I think shareholders would ultimately be best-served by either linking up with a proven international distributor and thus significantly cutting costs, or to secure (whisper it quietly) that inevitable trade sale of the company in its entirety.

Personally, I preferred it when he was an ex-pat resident of Lady-boy Land, at least there was often a time-zone delay before having to endure the latest pearl of wisdom.
I do hope, however, he will make the effort this time around to participate in the virtual AGM, I am sure the BOD would welcome and greatly benefit from hearing, inter alia, the latest on the Impending Chinese incursion into Taiwan, the next global market correction some day in the future, the wholly irrelevant ( to this Plc) vaccine or no vaccine speculation and, lest we forget, how he single-handedly correctly predicted...the date of the forthcoming AGM.

Ozboy, only very recently you were confidently claiming half the world's population would be vaccinated within the same time-frame!
Fact is vaccine will not change the dynamics of testing overnight, if at all. Oh, and no vaccine has ever been found to counter any Coronavirus, a not insignificant problem of virus mutation exists.
Oh and whilst on the subject of mutations, Twix, surely you can't be talking down the SP again after a mere 1/2p gain?
