May I respectfully request you migrate to an alternative site in which you can pontificate from on high about how you supposedly predicted a vaccine date (you didn’t as you have surreptitiously slid the date along by months).
Your alleged holding and supposed inspired trades (incidentally always announced after the price moves) is highly dubious and should only be read after taking the anti-twix vaccine.

On balance, am still a firm supporter of LR at the helm. I look at the Co’s dire position under the previous regime. LR pulled off a twin master stroke by eliminating debt and banishing litigation, and I doubt Ygen would be on anything other than life support or even be instinct without this life-saving surgery. Since then, much strategic planning and a focused directional plan in place. Perhaps an element of being blown off-track with the pandemic and testing uncertainties.

Today’s National Audit Office press release into the awarding of Covid-related contracts by the government is in many senses a statement of the bleedin’ obvious.
By the end of July new contracts worth £17.3 billion had been awarded, of which 10.5 billion without a competitive tender process.
Lack of transparency and an absence of adequate documentation was noted, as well as companies recommended by MPs, peers and ministers’ offices were given priority. No way!
Not surprised in the slightest as our public servants gorge themselves in a feeding frenzy from the money trough.
With regard to Ygen, it strongly suggests either the Co.complied with the Marquis of Queensbury rules of business tendering in a time of emergency, or LR and his extensive BOD have absolutely no friends in government or it’s various departments.

Whilst there is no doubt a business case explanation for appointing yet another staff member to the top table, one would have thought that the significant options already held by said appointee would be sufficient incentive to retain her services.
With a very few exceptions in terms of decent individual shareholding’s by board members, this really is an “options” driven BOD. No doubt a further slug of options to follow?
I understand the usual reasons put forward - incentivise, staff retention etc etc, but will anyone ever cost-benefit the size of the board in proportion to the revenues generated?
Joanne (aged 46) - a curious insertion of a female’s age- has clear and close links, inter alia, with the nhs and PHE. Would that such bonding have helped to generate some nice contracts on the Covid front.

It is three months to the day since LR begrudgingly announced, regarding Ygen’s venture Into the COVID arena:-

Mr market’s reaction to the SP over the previous six months is decidedly underwhelming.
The positive sounding rns’s may well continue apace, but LR needs to do far more and realise Shareholder value and returns really do matter.

Yes these building blocks are consistent with LR’s strategy outlined in the five-year plan of late 2018, whereby material shareholder value is expected in years 3-5.
More patience required it seems, unless covid diversions provide a turbo-boost.

As a LTH I am happy to tuck away and patiently watch this develop and grow, moonshot is backed by Hat Man**** so have absolutely no faith in Ygen getting anything meaningful from the project.

Another scenario re vaccine/testing debate: governments finally realise that test/trace is a pointless exercise and falls into total disrepute ( nearly there in the uk), begin to treat the Kung flu on a par with seasonal flu, aim to vaccinate the target vulnerable groups, and the rest resume normal existence and try to salvage the remains of the economy so as to be able to repay the government’s favourite contractors (Serco, Deloitte and more Serco). Oh and promote Dido to head the nhs.

LR has the benefit of the doubt presently, but a trade sale at a decent price would end the torture.

Like it or not, Hemo has done a splendid and thorough analysis, forensic one might even describe it.

I mentioned yesterday some of the gloss has been removed from LR and the evidence presented by Hemo suggests LR’s halo now hangs loosely.
Whilst cash reserves are healthy following the fund raise, this can soon be depleted, especially if controls on the cost-base are not tightly managed. How about starting with a review of the BOD which is ginormous for a Co. with a mkt cap of this size ?
