Good to see the ‘fundamentals’ and long discussed potential of this company take a back-seat when a sprinkling of rumour and good old-fashioned speculation comes to the fore.

Yes it appears one and the same Pauly “ Pilot”, long-time supporter and cheer-leader of FCCN in the days when the SP was 70p and above. I hope he sold at those levels, not all of us did.Better luck hopefully at these levels.

All in all a circa 10% fall on a profit warning, admittedly on a steadily falling SP over several months, isn’t catastrophic, and should put a line in the sand, perhaps ready for fresh or existing stake builders to express an interest at these prices.
LR has his credibility seriously dented, especially from those who participated in the last money-raise. Thinking he can continue using the T/O route to dig his way out of a hole would in my humble view be a strategic faux-pas. Fixing the existing moving parts first must be the priority, evidenced when we see consistent and decent organic growth.
Oh, and hopefully suspend any thoughts of new options when the SP is so depressed.

You seem to have bought into the government Covid-obsessed strategy wholeheartedly, and anyone who dies from the nhs being largely closed for normal business matters not.
By way of example, look no further than the figures released only this morning regarding excess alcohol-related deaths since lockdown. Numbers for suicides, untreated cancers, dementia, mental-health issues,heart-attacks etc to follow.
Anyone who accepts Sage “advice” without question deserves to be subject to eternal gimp-mask-wearing. Perhaps you would do well to refer to the Sage document of March 2020, “Options for increasing adherence to social distancing measures”, which recommended “the perceived level of personal threat needs to be increased...using hard-hitting emotional messaging.”
So, incessant doom-laden warnings, house arrest, claims we are all toxic to each other and swollen death tolls. The result is the Floridaesque acquiescence of the prevailing state advice, and anyone who dares question the efficacy of lockdowns is dismissed as crazed, a heretic and conspiracy theorist. Shame on you.

Suffice to say the covid obsession (99% make a full recovery) ignores the collateral damage of increased cancer, strokes, heart attack, suicides,mental health, economic woes etc etc.
Anyway, back to more pressing matters - finding a vaccine to get the Ygen SP out of the sick-bay.

Florida, all very Utopian: the strict restrictions you refer to have achieved a destruction of large swathes of the economy, yet to be fully realised. How many lockdowns would you propose before the penny drops and acceptance they do not work and never have?
Eradication of a virus predominantly by non-contact is really for the birds...and politicians in too deep to admit error.

One might still cling to the reference in the Align research note which outlined the “5-year plan” from nov 2018, aiming to deliver significant shareholder value in years 3-5, that is from about November 2021 onwards.
Personally, have never been a great lover of the 5-year plan - to me they have the whiff of the former Soviet Union collectives, subject to many external vagueries as well as change and reassessment. Will LR even be in post by then? Will the II investors be happy with a prolonged regressive SP? Will Twix ever deliver a post we could actually comprehend? Only time will tell.

Far be it from me to add to all the speculation ( and a little fact) which has recently occupied the minds of the great and good on this BB regarding share price performance or lack thereof, how about a geo-political theory thrown into the mix?
Could our business links with Taiwan conceivably be an explanation as to recent jitters with the SP? The recent regime change in the US appears to have been accompanied by a certain flexing of the Chinese military muscle regarding its near-neighbour. Hopefully not and the status quo soon resumes.
In the meantime I hope Ygen has in place at least some contingency plan for any worst case scenario.
Quick, someone get Prof Bill on the blower and see if our Entrepreneur-in-Chief can shed any light.
Now, how soon can the movers-and-shakers sort that 20p+ takeover?

One will be aware of LR’s links with the fledgling Aim tiddler ABDX.
Contrary to Flipper’s edict not to post non Ygen stuff here, I note today’s rns from Abdx, a trading update positively bristling with drive, ambition, transparency and....detail.
Does LR see this PR style and feel even a little embarrassed with the MO employed by Ygen over the previous year vis-a-vis keeping investors regularly updated? Sad to say but his delivery has been as damp as a rainy-day walk up Snowdon.
This is like the kid’s school essay question of the past: “Compare and Contrast....”
What will free Ygen from its moribund state?

We have a decent track-record here for producing a high volume of options. Does that count?

Even LR’s recent baby ABDX is doing decent today, surely time for LR to put all his energies back here, some serious catching up to do in terms of performance!
