Was just listening to Radio 4 news with some nhs types discussing that PCR labs are collectively struggling to meet capacity, and this before anticipated holiday surge. Potentially good from viewpoint of Ygen in that there is certainly plenty of PCR work to be had.
Only possible dampener highlighted was a new Megalab which opened in Leamington Spa on Tuesday, but not yet anywhere near full capacity, which may further out become the processing lab of choice for the government.
There we go, distracted again with covid issues. Now, how’s the core business performing LR?

Presumably the original primary intention to raise capital was good at the time, and the stock market allows potential investors to buy and sell, but between who and who? The present almost non-existent trades appears to make a continued listing counter-productive and perhaps an unjustifiable continued expense for the company.
Would that someone or something breathe life back here.

In vain did we raise our hopes that a couple of days of silence from him might herald a new dawn on this forum of non-toxicity. On Monday the SP may well go above the agreed T/O price if the market believes an even higher offer may come in. Or you can sell in the market, your decision.
Your broker will be able to advise re timetable for selling etc if the offer becomes unconditional, but expect months rather than days.
My own view, for what it’s worth, is that the SP still has legs.

The reasons for an individual selling are varied and generally unknown, not necessarily a gauge of future prospects or intent.
On the negative side, one wonders whether the seller was unable to offload in a single transactional sale with an agreed buyer or parcel of buyers, but drip-feeding predominantly 100k sells over a sustained period will -if that indeed was the chosen method- would not generally result in obtaining the best price as it may risk dampening sentiment.
On the positive, the issue of a TR-1 now may not be a legal requirement, rather a signal of intent to stop further sales presently. 55 million is still substantial skin in the game, and the sale raises only around £600k, perhaps indicating a sell for personal reasons.
Who knows? Only time will tell.

With regard to the predominant “sells” going through today, I conducted several dummy purchases today and was quoted around the 12.1 level to buy. It seems it is difficult to definitively identify what is a buy and what is a sell at the moment.

One day the book will be published from the Buffett of the airways, with an appendix of “wisdom” quotations that one may liberally use in any given investment situation.
Classics such as “it’s fact not rumour” when referring to a US contract which may or may not arise; or the very latest peach “ Those who attack me are on the wrong side of history”, said with a Churchillian nod to the eager crowds.
The problem we have are the gross and consistent contradictions of the Commander in Chief: someone who always sees the negatives in the Co. but nevertheless supposedly stays fully invested even as the SP is walked down, for months.
