I think Isobel is bigger than Sealion. I think we are passed the point of no return and I don’t understand garbled position, invested for years and at the cusp of victory de ramps and pulls out? I am heavily invested here. I may top slice a few at £2 sp or take a loan against my equity to avoid capital gains tax, as it will be substantial despite part of my holding being in an ISA. Alternatively leave this island I called home as it’s not what it used to be, to a more generous tax system and pay little to no capital gains. Nice problem to have anyway but just need the FID in the next few months.

There are around 1,500 UK military personnel stationed on the Falklands at anyone time. While this may appear quite a lot for a small outpost, in terms of troops needed in Kiev to defend UKRAINE 1,500 is a drop in the ocean as it’s believed UKRAINE is losing that many soldiers every week in this current conflict. Sending UK troops to Ukraine is fool hardy and enters into a dangerous conflict with Russia who has vast military superiority to the UK and could trigger WW3. The country should be consulted before we send our boat people to join the fight in my opinion, not just some egotistical politicians trying to virtue signal.
