So they setting things in place to reward directors when they meet performance levels in the future. This is positive

Do you remember that huge buy of about 19M shares recently, is this connected somehow or are these shares to be floated on 6th? Roll on 5th, fireworks and the crackling of shorts burning on the bonfire ;)

We have insufficient volume, we need more volume to break through the resistance to next level 85-90p, after this we have 92p to break, we need a few days of at least 8M shares a day being traded in a bullish way. Dribbling along at 1.5 to 3M can only get us so far

I read complete opposite that oil price is going to go up as green energy can’t replace oil in 2030-2040 and we haven’t been getting enough on line to deal with wells going past their peak or ending life.

I am hoping next week is the week. Fireworks on the 5th would be appropriate.

Fin the impatience is borne out of a few things:

1 the importance of FID it really is transformational

2 that many long term holders (I am talking decades in NFB) have had so many false dawns and sitting on our hands

3 that a delay in FID to 2026 pushes first oil out by 6-& months

So forgive me for being somewhat impatient after all this time. We are now squeezed into the last 7 working weeks of the year with a FI purdah and election in that period. I would rather then get this over the line sooner than later.

Mediocre volume and 82p resistance level hit. Not exactly an indicator FID announced Sunday but maybe it’s a tight ship. I am so fed up waiting and waiting I can’t believe if this is pushed out to late December. Better switch off and come back later if FID isn’t next week as it’s like watching paint dry after all these years.

A week earlier from the announcement to reschedule the elections Rockhopper announced the placement of funds for FID.

Only other time FI elections were postponed was 1976. 2025 is a rescheduling .

Originally, the current Legislative Assembly’s first sitting was on 8 Nov 2021. Under the constitution the Assembly must be dissolved by midnight on 7 Nov 2025, and an election held within 70 days (i.e., before 17 Jan 2026). 

• On 7 Aug 2025 the Executive Council announced an early dissolution and set the election day for Thursday 11 December 2025. 

• The new timetable therefore shifts the election into December.
