They could have made some more enquiries about display, and the relationship with Dow and Merck, and pressed a bit more on how lighting was shaping up (if at all). The vertical farming keeps getting mentioned as a significant potential revenue earner, but not so sure it's anything beyond niche.

Therefore, as far as we know we have an undefined number of gaming monitors hopefully arriving sometime between now and Christmas. What about other display companies, is it just AUO, or will we see some more programmes reaching commercialisation in the coming months.

Need some QD's to help see through the dark.

Lol. Unequivocal? Bearing in mind the past, don’t you think it would be beneficial for credibility if when making estimations, they are at least a semblance of accuracy. Let’s not forget the original expectation was Q1, where the only ‘exoected’ Games display release was the much delayed Asus and Acer monitors. Which turned out to be Nanosys dots.

Not making any accusations, just stating facts. If the ceo makes a statement in April that gaming monitors with their QD’s are due in Q2, then production would have been well advanced, not something going through early stages..

I think you can expect to wait until 2020 for decent revenue, if it comes at all. I’m coming to the conclusion that QD film is unlikely to make the predicted impact on display, which would tie in neatly with Dow and Merck’s lack of commitment to the tech. Nanoco have some good up, but without significant product, this time next year, they’ll be running on empty. Short of a miracle happening between not w and the new year, I think it’ll be out with the begging bowl yet again.

I think investors are owed some explanation of why the displays have failed to materialise. When the ceo is interviewed and withconfidence states Q2 product, and it doesn’t happen, we as investors should know why. We’d be well past an R&D phase for him to be able to state that back in April, so in my view either it’s BS or something has gone wrong and the contract was lost. I’m not looking at things in a few days or weeks, I’m looking at where things will be in six months, with the probabitiy of still no products, and the spectre of another cash call. The US contract could take another two years before we see a product if it happens at all, and I don’t think it’s wise to have all the eggs in one basket

I’ve mentioned display several times, and have said that’s where I’m looking for revenue first. ME clearly stated Q2 in his last interview for gaming monitors. In the past there has been some ambiguity over statements, but this time there is no fudging, investors have been misled.

I watched it. What's there to say? Promising tech, but plenty of that out there which never makes it to market, or gets pipped to the post by something else.

I won’t be counting any chickens until they’ve hatched, not with this companies past record. In the near term I’m more interested in what’s happening with display. Many seem to have forgotten all about that.

With regards to the comments about the facility not being large enough for a company like Apple, I'm not so sure about that. They should be able to produce enough dots for millions of cameras in a facility that size, and it's millions of devices that Apple sells rather than billions.

I expect the buy will appear later on today or during the week.

I think Apple is important because they purchased Invisage, and a tie-in with Nanoco seems plausible because they're the only independent commercial producer of cad free QD's- some others will argue that point, but where is the evidence to the contrary?

So bearing in mind that Apple are unlikely to be buying a company for the fun of it, and that it's becoming harder and harder to improve the small cameras in phones etc. Not to mention other optical sensing devices.

However the link to Apple, if that proves to be the case, is likely to be through a third party. All speculative though.

I think the size of the expansion, a facility large enough to provide sufficient dots for millions of sensors, indicates it is far from insignificant.

Not the logical actions of a large holder if we’re expecting a shining end of year statement.
